When I ordered the toy, it said it was a set of anal beads. I tried them for that purpose first. When they arrived, I found they were larger than I expected, and had a weighted ball inside the larger balls that provided a rattling sensation when moved. The material is a smooth odorless silicone, which makes cleanup very easy. The retrieval cord is also made of silicone, and is rather stretchy which works well when tugging on the cord to provide stimulation to the sphincter. Inside the large balls are smaller weighted balls that rattle around creating a vibrating feeling when they are moved.

While I have used a dildo the same circumference for anal play, the dildo started with a smaller point and worked up to the larger circumference while the balls were large right away. Once inserted, though, the balls provided a pleasurable feeling, especially when tugged, and the internal weighted balls added slightly to the enjoyment. When it came time to extract them, however, I was concerned about the stretchy retrieval string, and had concerns that the string might not hold, or possibly slingshot out flinging waste on the walls. After reading more about the product, I found instances where they were used as a vaginal toy, so I had my wife try them for that purpose after cleaning them thoroughly with soap and water and letting them air dry. She found that they were a little small for that purpose, and the weights didn't provide as much sensation as she's gotten from other vaginal balls. I could see this product working for either function, though not particularly well.

In theory the design of this product is nice. Being entirely covered in silicone I didn't have any concerns about cleanup or sanitary issues. I've had anal beads in the past that were a number of plastic balls on a string, and after awhile the string would get dirty and had to be thrown away. The size of the balls does present a problem; they are rather large for anal play but not quite large enough for vaginal play. Another concern is the number of balls. Anal beads I've tried in the past had several balls, and a lot of the enjoyment was when they were removed, and with 4 or 5 on a string the enjoyment could be prolonged. With this product having only two balls, the removal sensation didn't last long enough.
