Off-Label Use (for the Ladies)

I am quite satisfied with this toy. I got if for a certain purpose and it has lived up to my expectations. I knew the size I was looking for and I was happy with the fit and the quality of the material.

useful review
So, this lovely silicone prostate stimulator from Doc Johnson caught my eye. It was not too big and not too small and had an intriguing shape. I don't happen to have a prostate, but this seemed to pose no problem since it looked to be a fun little butt toy.

The P-Plug (PP) is made of firm silicone and is not as bendy as some other silcone toys I own. Very firm squeezing pressure only makes the material give slightly. PP is very sturdy and somewhat lightweight. It has a nice flared base that doesn't crumple up when I tried to fold it, so it won't accidentally slip up your butt and get lost. Compared to some other silicone, it doesn't attract quite as much lint as the softer, more flexible types. That is always a plus.

There is no smell to speak of, but silicone is one of the safest materials and I would be suspicious of anything called silicone that had a smell. I'm sure ya'll already know not to use silicone lube on a silicone toy, but just in case you didn't- DON'T. It will make the material break down. Stick with water based lube, or my favorite- coconut oil. As with all silicone, it cleans up nicely with soap and warm water and can be boiled to disinfect.

There are no seams or flaws in the molding. The words 'Doc Johnson' are imprinted on the side of the base, so make sure to scrub that area with a brush or something since it could trap particles and germs (eeeewww). The shape is specially designed for stimulating the prostate, which with my basic knowledge of anatomy would seem to be the case as it has a curve to the shaft with four subtle "knuckles" and a nice bulb on the end. I call them knuckles because it looks like the way a finger bends, but it really looks more like a tiny person hunched over. Kinda cute!
Experience
As mentioned in the title, this is a ladies' review. I wanted something to warm me up for anal that wasn't as big as a real live penis, but was larger than the average finger. Like Goldilocks, I wanted it to be just right. I can't just hop right into anal and this has turned out to be the perfect intermediate size. I feel it is too small for vaginal use, but I love huge, girthy toys and this is on the small side. The firmness makes it a breeze to insert, but I do have to keep a hand on it so it doesn't pop out on me.
Follow-up commentary
I am really coming to appreciate this as a multi-function toy. When not doing anal duty, I like to suck on it while using something larger vaginally. It's a very high quality silicone that has a better ability to repel the fuzzies and lint that some of my other toys attract.
