Onyx Stix is a Bit of a Miss

If you don't mind low safety ratings this isn't horrible. It isn't the greatest plug/probe/bead-like anal toy ever made but it's effective. The beads could be bit separated a bit more and a flared based would make this a better toy.

This plug really seems like more of a probe. To me, a plug implies that it will stay put. It's nicely sized, I didn't find it so small that it felt like there was barely anything there, nor did I find it so large that I just couldn't do it. I'm not the biggest fan of the cord. I'm overly paranoid perhaps, but I do worry about the knot possibly coming undone at a crucial moment. I definitely leave the last bulb out to help avoid any potential trouble, especially if I'm alone and playing with other toys.

The length from bulb to bulb is about 6 1/2". The circumference varies from 3 1/2" at the top of the toy and the bottom two are 4 3/4" and 5 1/4". The cord hangs about 6" from the base so there's a decent amount to hold onto which, if you're using this anally, you'll want to do. It is kind of squishy so there's a fair amount of give to this plug, which does make it easier to take.

It's a PVC toy so it's pretty porous and gets a low rating on the safety scale. You cannot sterilize this so if you plan on ever using this vaginally but want to try it anally then use a condom for sure, although a condom is recommended for all use. Sharing really requires one. It's compatible with water or silicone-based lubricants. To clean it wash with soap and water or a toy cleaner.

I've found that it does not stay in that well. I tend to push out a lot of anal toys when I orgasm and this one is no exception. I think that a tiny bit more space between the beads would make this toy infinitely better.

It comes packaged in an easy to separate plastic clamshell (not the stupid ones that make you earn the contents) with an insert. The insert has a bit of information about things like what it is made out of and the website for warranty information and product registration. There aren't really any directions but there isn't much of a reason for directions either.

I have to agree, a redesign would make this a pretty solid butt toy. Higher quality materials and a better flaring base would be my personal wishlist!

Yes, a better base is a must, especially to be considered a plug. For a similar ribbed sensation, check out the Tantus ripple, although this is more of a probe as well

    Thanks guys!
Porfiriato, I might do just that at some point!

How does this PVC feel? Is it as stiff as plumber's pipe? Or is it softened?
