This plug is a little difficult to handle when you try to insert it anally. With a regular plug you can lube it up and pop it in. This plug is a little trickier, you have to pinch the two halves together to form the traditional plug shape. It sounds simple enough but when you are all lubed up things start to get a little slippery. Since this plug is rather wide (3 inches in diameter) it is not for anyone starting out with anal play. The base is flared out wide, so there is really no chance of it getting lost inside. You can use this toy solo or with your partner. It would probably be easier for a partner to help insert this plug. I think that people should be cautious about the size of this toy when it opens up inside you. It can be too wide for some people, the expanded size is a full four inches.

The plug really has no odor to speak of. The TPR material it is made of is soft and flexible. The surface is smooth without any texture, and the toy is a little tacky/sticky to the touch. When you press the two ends together they stick to themselves momentarily. I feel that the soft material helps with the comfort of the plug when it is being inserted and removed since has such a wide girth to it. I do not think that this material is for either beginners or advanced users. It is really the design and size of the toy that determines that in this case.

The design of this toy is interesting, it looks kind of like a snakehead when you look at it sideways. The two "jaws" open and close when you press them together. You squeeze the ends together to insert the plug and once it is inside you the ends expand out to fill you up. I found the plug difficult to insert due to the material being hard to handle once lubed and the softness made it lose its shape. When I would push on the plug, the end seemed like they bulged out. My main problem with insertion is the diameter. It is just too big for myself, I would recommend this plug to people would are experienced and like their toys on the larger size.

It is not a realistic toy, and you could travel with it without much of a problem. At a quick glance, it really does not look like a sex toy due to it's not traditional shape.

I had such a hard time inserting this toy it became frustrating. I used a ton of lube, and it made it hard to handle. I use a water based lube, but with this toy, you can use silicone lube as well. I think the thicker the lube the better with this plug. I eventually rolled a condom onto it just to keep the ends together to see if I could get it in. That worked, and it did feel good once in, and I could feel it pressing on my prostate. The condom would not let the ends open, but at that point, I was a little used to the size, so I was able to pull it out and remove the condom. I was able to reinsert it without the condom, but I found when the plug was fully inserted and expanded it was uncomfortable. To me it was bordering on painful, so that was not fun. This plug does perform as described it is just too big for me.

The plug washes easily with soap and water for before and after use. It did not retain any odors, and I would store this toy in some sort of bag to keep it from sticking to other toys in our collection. The TPR material can be used with water based or silicone lubes but as I stated earlier go with the thicker lubes and use a lot of it. Heat seems to affect this toy. When I received it in the mail, it was 90 degrees outside, and when this toy was hot, it was really soft. Not sure if freezing it would firm it up? Maybe I will try that next time.

It just comes in a plastic bag. It does not have any instructions with it, but most buyers should be able to figure this toy out on their own. I suppose you could keep the bag for storage.
