Vibrating anal beads

Perfect for a little backdoor play

For those looking to try out a vibrating anal toy, this is an excellent choice, provided you're careful with the 'handle' and don't mind something battery-operated. The shape, silicone material, and great variety of modes mean most people can find something to love about the Backdoor arouser.

Use

At just 1" in diameter, this toy is perfect for beginners to anal play or anal vibrations! The small but sizable handle means that it could easily be used alone or with a partner. I will say that I wish the base were just a bit more flared; I'd almost be more comfortable using this with a partner than alone.

Because it's waterproof, this toy could be used pretty much anywhere. Its non-intimidating size makes it a great in addition to other types of play or for a little fun on its own.

Material / Texture

The silicone is soft but firm, pliable enough to bend but without worrying about damaging the integrity of the toy. Because it's 100% silicone, this nonporous toy is easy to clean (though of course, one should not use silicone-based lube with this toy). The silicone seems to evenly distribute the vibrations throughout the beaded part of the toy, ensuring great stimulation whether one bead or all five are inserted.

Design / Shape / Size

Mimicking anal beads though, without the size graduation, the first bump of the Backdoor arouser has a slightly oblong shape. Because the tip is rounded, insertion is comfortable. There are small ridges in between each of the five bumps on the toy. The insertable length (or what is *supposed* to be inserted) is a very modest 4.5", so coupled with the small diameter this is great for even beginners. The soft curve has potential to stimulate the prostate, and I imagine that someone not wanting to use this for anal play could use it for G-spot stimulation in a pinch.

Performance

With ten (10!) modes of vibration, there's a lot of experimentation to be done with this toy. I think that's a great benefit, particularly as anal play can be intimidating for new users. The toy turns on with a single tap to the power button; additional taps cycle through the modes, and a long press turns the toy off. There's not a real rhyme or reason to the order of these modes, however, so it may take some time to figure out how many times to click the power button to get to the vibrations of your choice. I do like how easy it is to turn on and off, and with the button directly on the back end, it's not difficult to change modes in the middle of use.

Care and Maintenance

Because this is silicone, it's nonporous and thus a snap to clean. You could throw this in the top rack of the dishwasher or wash it by hand with your favorite toy soap. The toy takes two AAA batteries, and I was seriously amazed at how easy it is to open the battery compartment. While this potentially has some detriment (accidental opening during play), I didn't have any problems and liked that I didn't have to wrestle with it to put batteries in.
