This adorable hot pink plug is perfect for beginners to anal play (or those like myself who haven't had any booty action for years). I didn't notice any odor to the Booty Toy when it first arrived, and the toy is completely smooth in texture aside from two small, slightly raised hearts on either side of the body of the toy. These are extremely subtle, and are more for aesthetics than anything else, as they cannot be felt at all during insertion or wear (but they do add some subtle cuteness to the overall look of the toy).

The size and shape of the Booty Toy are perfect for those new to anal play. Its tiny, unintimidating size and tapered shape allow for comfortable insertion into even the most virginal of butts. Just apply a dollop of your favourite water-based lube to the toy and the outside of your anus, relax, and slowly slide the Booty Toy into your bum. I was able to insert this toy easily and comfortably without any sort of warm-up. I experienced no pain or discomfort. The narrow neck allows it to sit comfortably inside your bum, and the flexible loop base prevents it from getting lost in your rectum while still allowing you to wear it comfortably in any position. It's very comfortable to wear while seated, and although I personally haven't done this (yet), I'd imagine that it would be very comfortable for long-term wear as well. The loop base also makes removal very easy. Just hook a finger through the loop, relax, and give it a gentle tug.

Another benefit to the loop base is that you can slide a bullet vibrator through it and turn your Booty Toy into a vibrating plug! I've found that any bullet with a standard width will fit snugly in the loop (meaning it will stay nicely attached during use), and the vibrations travel through the silicone of the toy quite well. I like to use my EF Rose Gold bullet. This toy performs exactly as it should. It's easy to insert, comfortable to wear, and easy to clean. It doesn't have any mechanical parts, so you don't have to worry about batteries or charging.

Care for silicone toys is extremely easy, and toys made from silicone should last for years and years with proper care and cleaning. The Booty Toy washes easily with toy cleaner and/or mild soap and hot water. Since this toy contains no mechanical parts, you can sterilize it by boiling it or running it through the dishwasher on the top rack without detergent. If those methods are unavailable to you, you can also sterilize it by washing it with a 5-10% bleach solution or rubbing alcohol (just be sure to rinse thoroughly).

The main things to be aware of with silicone, to keep it in good condition and to ensure a maximum lifespan, is to stick to using water-based lube (avoid silicone or oil-based, as those can degrade the material) and to keep it from coming into prolonged contact with other sex toy materials, especially during storage (sometimes coming into contact with different types of silicone and other materials can cause melting, staining, and other strange chemical reactions). I've found that the Booty Toy stores nicely in a snack-sized ziplock baggie, which keeps it separated from its sex toy siblings in my toybox.
