The Icicles No. 25 is best used to fill you up and stimulate yourself anally. Men and women can both enjoy anal plugs but women can also insert the plug vaginally depending upon how large a diameter they are comfortable with inserting.

This plug is not the best for beginners to anal play because of its large diameter but experienced players will enjoy it thoroughly because it does not slide right out and it can be worn for long periods of time. The flat base also makes it more comfortable for those who like to sit with plugs inserted.

Being that this is an anal toy it must be sterilized between partners and uses to ensure that you do not pass around bacteria, etc. If you do not have time to sterilize the plug just cover it with a condom before use and clean it before sharing.

You can use this plug on yourself, with a partner or it can be worn during sex for that extra full feeling. The Icicles No. 25 can also be used in the bath or shower with some silicone lubricant or you can warm it up or cool it down with some warm or iced water for some temperature play.

Icicles No. 25 is made from Borosilicate or Pyrex glass, as it is also known, which earns it a 10/10 safety rating on the Eden safety scale. It is a food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, non-porous, and latex- and phthalates-free. In this case the glass is very rigid, smooth, shiny, clear and contains no texture whatsoever. Glass also does not have an odor to it and will not hold any odors after use and washing.

Using lubricant is required with anal toys so grab your favorite brand and get to it. There are no worries about ruining the material since glass is compatible with all lubricants.

The Icicles No. 25 has the teardrop shape typical to so many other anal plugs. It starts off with a rounded point end and flares out from there until tapering down into the neck. The neck is much smaller in diameter than the fullest part of the plug and then it flares out into a flat, wide base. Altogether this toy measures 3 3/4" long with an insertable length of 3 1/4". The circumference is 5 1/2" and the diameter is 1 1/2". This plug also weighs 5 ounces so it is not overly heavy but it is weighty enough to notice its presence while using it.

The best thing about the Icicles No. 25 is that it is comfortable enough for long term wear and the base is flat making it easier and more comfortable to sit down with it inserted. Also, the base does a great job of keeping the plug from sliding all the way in and getting lost in your anal cavity.

The possibility of temperature play and bath or shower play also makes this plug very versatile while the material makes it simple to choose a lubricant to use with it.

There are not many downsides to this plug unless you need something smaller, have surpassed the 1 1/2" diameter or don't like the material.

Cleaning the Icicles No. 25 is very easy, just wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap or toy cleaner or wipe it down with some toy wipes.

You can sterilize the plug by boiling it for three minutes, putting it in the top rack of the dishwasher without detergent or by wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution. Just make sure you rinse it thoroughly so you don't introduce bleach to sensitive body parts.

There was no storage pouch included with the plug but it can be stored just about anywhere after it is properly padded and protected.

The plug came in the usual Icicles box with photos of the toy all around it, a magnetic flap that opens to reveal a view of the plug and all sorts of information about the toy on the back and inside flap. The plug was nestled in a foam cutout inside the box and it makes great storage if you can spare the space it takes up. It is not a very discreet package so it should be wrapped if gifting to someone and recycled when empty wherever possible.

As soon as this arrived in the mail I had to try it out so I grabbed my silicone lubricant and gave it a whirl. Much to my surprise, after working up to it with other silicone lube compatible toys, this plug just slid right in and stayed put. The base did a great job of keeping it from disappearing but at the same time the plug did not try to slide right back out after inserting it. This is the biggest plug I've used so far and it is definitely not for beginners based on size alone.

Always remember to take anal play very slowly, try to relax as much as possible and use lots of lubricant.
