Seven ways to buzz

The Ultra Vibro-T takes a rigid plastic T vibrator, and couples it with a seven-function pushbutton electronic speed control that adds pulsing and stepping features to the basic low, medium and high settings. The entire toy is waterproof for shower or bath fun, and uses two AA batteries for long life.
Can be used vaginally or anally, good size, powerful, waterproof.
Longer vibrator would be nice, cord may break with use if you're not careful.

California Exotics has a new version of the T vibrator out, the Ultra Vibro-T. The main difference between the Ultra Vibro-T and other toys is the controller: the Ultra Vibro-T has a seven feature electronic control that complements the customary low, medium and high speeds with four special modes. These modes automatically sequence the vibrator through a selection of speed settings to add interest. All of the features are controlled by two pushbuttons: on/off and mode, with the mode defaulting to low every time you turn it on.

The Ultra Vibro-T is a two piece vibrator: a partially insertable vibrator, and a separate control unit. Both of these are waterproof, allowing you to use the Vibro-T in wet situations. The separate construction has two advantages: not only can the Ultra Vibro-T use two AA batteries for long life, but you have the controller easily accessible. This eliminates having to fumble around your lower regions for the switch, inadvertently pulling out a few pubic hairs.

The vibrator unit is made of black plastic with a slightly textured “rubber-cote” finish. The material's lack of smell combined with the “safe & pure” sticker on the box leads me to suspect that the Ultra Vibro-T is phthalates-free, although I couldn't find anything specifically confirming this.

The 1” diameter is a good choice. It’s small enough to make insertion easy, anally, but large enough to deliver powerful pleasant feelings to many body parts. The vibrator's “wings” worked well to prevent complete insertion. When used vaginally they offered a bit of extra stimulation to the labia and clitoris, but not much. They're short enough that the Ultra Vibro-T can be “hotdogged” (laid lengthwise in the vulva to stimulate the clitoris, labia, and vaginal opening at the same time) without poking any sensitive bits. Vaginal verdict: thumbs up, the Ultra Vibro-T works pretty well.

Anally the Ultra Vibro-T worked pretty well too. Even though the end is blunt, the narrow diameter combined with the vibrations made insertion easy. The vibrations were strong enough to be pleasurable. The ball right above the “T” gives the impression that it might be useful for holding the Vibro-T hands free, but it really isn’t. The Vibro-T requires a hand to hold it in; otherwise it rapidly wiggles itself out. The ball isn't useless, though – its purpose is to add a bit of stimulation for thrusting, which it does.

The Ultra Vibro-T isn't perfect, though. During use I found myself wishing for a bit extra in length, something more like the Colt Waterproof Power Anal-T. The Ultra Vibro-T is long enough to reach the prostate or G-spot. A bit of extra length would make it much better allowing for the stimulation of a woman's A-spot. We also found that we stopped using the fancy vibrating modes pretty quickly and concentrated on the good old low, medium, and high settings. It wasn't that the modes were bad, they just changed too fast and left us with the “that was feeling good, why did it stop” feeling.

Cleanup was easy, as the entire assembly is waterproof and can be cleaned quickly in the sink with soap and water or toy cleaner. It's not dishwasher safe, and since I'm not sure if it's sterilizable, a condom or other cover would be good if you're going to use it both vaginally or anally.

The only thing I noticed that could present a durability problem was the cord. There aren't any “gentle bend” devices, so you'll need to be careful to not crimp the cord at the vibrator or control box during use. A crimped cord will eventually break.

Overall the Ultra Vibro-T is pretty good. It does what it's supposed too, providing a vibrator that you can use for pleasure in many ways.
