There's really no way to misuse this toy. It's small and great for first time anal play. Once inserted, it stays in place and can be left in during intercourse, which is probably where this toy really shines. The base is large enough to be safe, yet small enough not to get in the way in just about any position. The plug is firm, but just soft enough not to cause pain if you and your partner tend to be a little...rambunctious.

The Hard Candy Plug may not be the most accurate name. Being made of Elastomed, the toy is pliable but firm enough for easy insertion. The surface of the plug is smooth for the most part, except for a small swirl on either side of the widest part, which really doesn't effect sensation.

The plug is odorless, tasteless (assuming it's clean!) and very easy to clean using soap and water or antibacterial toy wipes.

The Hard Candy plug is well...cute, and I suppose it looks like it could actually be made of hard candy. It's not quite 3 inches long, it's pink, and see-through. Were it anything but a sex toy, it would shout "I'm a pretty little princess!" I tend to shy away from "girly" designs, but if you're looking for a butt plug that looks completely innocent and non-intimidating, this one definitely meets the criteria.

The best thing about this toy is its understated size. It's perfect for beginners because the size is not intimidating and won't cause pain when lube is used. It's also a nice little boost for intermediate anal use because it provides a subtle amount of sensation during intercourse without being overwhelming. Most butt plugs have large bases that can get in the way during sex, but this one has a smaller rectangular base that is comfortable for both parties. It's also small enough to be worn during solo play, although I'm not sure if I would recommend walking around wearing for extended periods (like out in public). Even though it has the flared base for it to stay put, it's small enough that a sneeze or cough could possibly force it out. Awkward, right?

The Hard Candy plug is smooth and non-porous, so it's simple to clean. Hot water and soap will do the job, as will toy wipes. I always recommend antibacterial soap or wipes, especially with anal toys. Water and silicone lubes are safe to use with this plug.

I guess big things CAN come in small packages. I know I keep referring to the toy's small size, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the amount of sensation it did provide. I still think it would make a cute key chain, but this toy has earned a permanent spot in my collection.
