On here the material is identified as TPR silicone but the California Exotic website as well as the packaging say this is 100% pure silicone. From the texture and no scent I tend to agree. Since this is an anal toy, just knowing this can be sanitized, is non porous, and is phthalates free ranks it high in my book. To sanitize you can boil it for 3 minutes, wash it in the dishwasher on the top rack with no soap, or wipe it with a 10% bleach solution. They tend to collect dust so please rinse them before use! The beads are the perfect size. There are only three of them but they get down to the good part with out being too long and made up of tiny beads that do nothing for you. The first bead is a little shy of 3/4 an inch thick, followed by an inch and an inch and a half. They are the perfect size and progression for beads in my opinion.
