The Tristan 1.5 with the bullet is just that, the 1.5 model with a hollow core to allow a bullet to be placed snugly inside. The plug comes with a bullet with a retrieval cord.

The Tristan is designed for anal play. Being made form high grade silicone, you can use this toy for penetration of any kind. This plug does have a thin, flared base, which allows for both safe and long term use. The shape is also what allows this plug to be more suited for long term wear. The long neck allows this toy to stay put for mostly anything, even intercourse for dual penetration.

The Tristan is gender friendly. Aiming the toy toward the front of the body can add prostate or G-spot stimulation. Overall, the Tristan has many uses and is bound to please. However, the Tristan 1.5 is not intended for beginners. This toy will require warm up for even more experienced anal players. If you wish to stay on the smaller size of butt plugs, I would suggest the Tristan 1 or other smaller toys. Either way, if you are looking for a butt plug that stays in place, the shape of Tristan plugs tend to do the job well.

The bullet is removable and can be used independently of the plug. The retrieval cord is secured to a metal loop on the bottom of the bullet. You can also look for other bullets that can fit in the base of the Tristan if you desire. The bullet is weak, so it can be used as a teaser toy on any erogenous zones if you desire.

The Tristan 1.5 is made purely of silicone. It is non porous, so it can be easily sanitized. The tip is bulbous with a slightly pointed top. After the bulb, there is a long neck. It isn't skinny, just thinner than the head. The neck is long and smooth until hitting the base. The base looks like a pinched in rectangle. This thinner base allows the Tristan to fit snug during wear and keep it out of the way. There are no noticeable seams on the toy. The plug has give, it is not very rigid compared to other toys. It is especially flexible if you do not place the bullet inside.

This is a very pretty plug. The Tristan is a deep bluish-purple color. In low light it doesn't look like much, but in the light you can see the swirls. The swirls range in blue, purple, and silver colors. There is a sparkle to the swirls in the light, and the sheen is visible. It is hard describe so I can sum it as this: this Tristan plug is the most beautiful butt plug I have seen made of silicone.

While the texture of the Tristan is smooth, it is sizable and a challenge. This is not a beginners toy. This is a plug better designed for more advanced and intermediate anal players. The shape also makes it more challenging than standard tapered and graduating plugs. Even if you are an intermediate player used to tapered plugs, the Tristan could still be a challenge for you.

Being silicone, there is no overt odor or taste to the Tristan 1.5. The bullet is a basic, smooth, metal, oval shape with a seam around its middle. The seam can be felt if used on it's own, but not if placed in the plug. The cord appears to be nylon or rayon.

The Tristan 1.5 is an advanced shape. The widest part is on the bottom of the bulb, with a maximum circumference of 5.5 inches. I can wrap my thumb and index finger around the widest part of the toy. Barely.



The bulb is tapered, but challenging. A warm up with either fingers or a smaller toy is recommended before inserting the Tristan 1.5. That and plenty of water based lube (can never have enough!) The length isn't very long compared to other anal toys, with an insertable length of about 3 inches. Even though that doesn't seem like much, it feels like it going in. This is because you will feel the "fullness" the entire time the Tristan is being inserted. This is because the widest point of the toy is toward the starting end and not the tail end of the toy.



Also, I believe this is what makes the Tristan stay in place. In this way, you are able to experience and enjoy a larger toy and not have it pop out (and ruin the mood!). The long neck allows the toy to snugly stay in place.

In terms of discretion, the Tristan 1.5 is not very discreet. It is obvious of what it is. With the batteries out of the bullet, the bullet is very discreet and can be taken anywhere. If the batteries are left in, the bottom button can accidentally turn on during travel (and make a public embarrassment). However, you can travel with the Tristan so long as you place it in a hygiene bag or big makeup bag. It is not large, but sizable. In terms of Bees, the Tristan 1.5 is a 1-2. You can walk around in public with it on.

The bullet has a simple one ON/OFF button push design at the base of it. It has one vibration setting that is about 2 Bees. While not very strong, the anal cavity has thinner tissue than the vagina, so 2 Bees on average feels more intense during anal play than vaginal play. This higher sensitivity is also due to the fact that (again, on average) the anal cavity is stimulated less often then the vagina. Nonetheless, if you were hoping for intense vibration, the Tristan may disappoint you. The weak vibration could be because the bullet runs on watch batteries. It is still a valuable purchase because you could purchase a stronger bullet that fits into the hollow core of the toy.

The bullet has excellent placement in the center of the toy. It fits in tightly, so you don't have to worry about embarrassing accidents. If, for some reason (that I personally cannot fathom, but who knows?) the bullet gets into the anal cavity, it does have a 6-7 inch retrieval cord that is used to remove the bullet from the plug.

The plug on its own is waterproof, so it can be submerged or used during shower/tub time. The bullet is not stated to be waterproof, so I would not submerge the plug with the bullet in. The plug on its own (or with the bullet, if adventurous) can be worn in public. I wouldn't wear it in a library, but is discreet and not noticeable in a average public environment.

Being 100 awesome silicone, the Tristan 1.5 can be cleaned in a variety of ways. It can be boiled to be sterilized, wiped with alcohol or with traditional soap and water. The plug is easy to clean.

The bullet shouldn't get messy. However, it is possible for lube to get into the core of the plug. The bullet can be wiped with an alcohol wipe since it is metal, or be washed with soap and water with the batteries removed. The cord of bullet should be washed on occasion as well.

Once dry, you can place the toy back in its original packaging, or in any general storage you have. You should try and keep your anal toys in a separate area from your other toys, just in case. Only water based lubes can safely be used on the Tristan 1.5. However, trying a test with hybrid lubes or silicone lubes may be worth looking into.

Because I store my Tristan in it's orignal packaging, I have no seen much lint collection on the toy.

The Tristan 1.5 came in a cute, cylindrical, clear plastic container with red caps on the top and bottom. The top pops off to get the toy. I use it as storage and then place it in my toy bag. The bullet fits in. The packaging also came with a blue card thanking you for your purchase and some safe anal sex tips along with a link for further sex info.

The package is not at all discreet. I find it cute, but it might be too cumbersome for those who need to be more discreet.

The Tristan 1.5 has many functions. There are probably a variety of bullets that will fit the Tristan and I'm looking forward to having different vibrations at hand depending on my mood.
