The Tristan 1.5 with bullet is definitely a plug for those with anal experience. This is a sizable plug that fills and stays in place. The '1.5' comes from this being an 'in between' size of the Tristan which is 1.5 inches in diameter and the Tristan 2 which is 2 inches in diameter. So, naturally, the Tristan 1.5 is 1.75 inches in diameter.

As with the other versions of this plug, the Tristan 1.5 with bullet is made of beautiful squishy blue silicone. My plug doesn't have the light silvery blue color but is dark blue with even darker blue swirls. I love the lighter swirls in my regular 1.5 but this is just as pretty and it makes them easier to tell them apart. The plug comes in a 4.5 inch tall plastic tube that has a 3.5 inch diameter. Inside the tube is the plug, the silver bullet with retrieval cord, and three watch batteries.

As for the plug itself, the tip is shaped like an ace on a playing card that is thick and rounded. The neck is approximately 1.5 inches long and approximately 1.25 inches in diameter. The flared base is like a rectangle with concave sides that is 3.25 inches long, 1.75 inches wide at the narrowest point and 2 1/8 inch wide at the widest point. With the bullet not inserted, the neck is hollow and squishy which can be nice but once the bullet is in it firms up to a similar firmness of the Tristan 1.5 that doesn't have a hollowed vessel for a bullet.

The bullet is a single speed bullet with a push button to turn it off and on. It has a retrieval cord to help remove the plug when it is in or to remove the bullet for cleaning. The reservoir for the bullet is deep enough to allow the vibrations to be felt fully inside though they are moderate to low in intensity. The thickness and shape of this plug make it feel amazing with the pressure it places inside. It fits comfortably and feels great during orgasm without feeling like it will come out.

As I mentioned, this does require warm up. My preferred method is with fingers and a smaller toy, whether it be a dildo or another plug. Once I'm ready, I liberally apply water-based lube to the bulb part of the plug (past experience has taught me that too much lube on the neck and base can be frustrating when trying to insert anal toys) and then press firmly but slowly until the plug slips in. If you try to rush insertion of this plug it will either not go in or cause some discomfort.

The Tristan 1.5 with bullet is as easy to clean as the other versions of this plug. The plug itself, minus the bullet, can be cleaned with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, toy cleaner, boiling for 3 minutes, or tossing in the top rack of the dishwasher without soap. The bullet should not be boiled or dishwashed, but can be cleaned with soap and water or toy cleaner. Vixen Creations reccommend storing your plug in an upright position and the plastic tube it came in works great for this. It also helps keep lint and hair off the plug too.

Overall, this is a great plug. The vibrations are a nice variation to an already great product, but this plug is just as enjoyable without them. I love Vixen Creations products and feel comfortable saying that if this size is a bit big for you, you should definitely check out the Tristan!!
