I have to admit that I am a big fan of anal play. It's like the frosting on a cake....the cherry on a sundae. So, it has been my goal, for quite awhile, to acquire more anal toys. The Pawn Butt plug, by Vixen Creations, has drawn my attention for some time. I was looking for an anal toy made of silicone, with good shape, and a flared base. The cobalt blue color looks so impressive.

I have to admit I was a little disappointed when I first used this butt plug. I was hoping that the toy would be bigger and was certain that The Pawn Butt Plug would not be able to bring me to orgasm. I was wrong!! I think the size would be great for beginners to anal play. I was looking forward to my partner helping me experiment with this toy, but he was not keen on that idea due to poor design (his words).

The more I played with The Pawn, the better I liked it. Feeling the shape of the balls & ridges going in and out is a great feeling. I also noticed that the size was perfect for using with a realistic vibrator in my pussy. Some anal toys pop out when a vibrator is inserted in the vagina, but The Pawn did not. Therefore, the size is a benefit in some circumstances.

Silicone is preferred for anal play for several reasons. Silicone is not porous, therefore dirt & bacteria cannot get embedded in silicone toys. Silicone can be disinfected by boiling or washing in dishwasher (on top rack). Water based lubricants are to be used with silicone toys since silicone based lubricants can cause the material to break down. Another benefit of silicone based toys is that the material retains heat, which can provide a warm sensation during play. The Pawn Butt Plug has a smooth surface, due to the silicone material.

The shape of this toy provided good stimulation. The Pawn consists of 3 round balls with ridges in between them. The last ball is bigger than previous ones. The roundness made for clumsy insertion, at times. The ridges felt wonderful! The Pawn has a flared base, so the toy does not accidentally get lost in the butt. I found the base hard to hold. The lube made the toy slippery, so the toy was hard to keep hold of & toy was hard to keep in place.

The pawn has become a regularly used anal probe during self-exploration. I enjoy the size now more than when it arrived. It stays put. The Pawn causes no discomfort. It is a mainstay in my collection.
