This toy is extremely small and I would not recommend letting go of the ring. It may be labeled as an anal plug, but I would not recommend using it as a plug because the ring base is not wide enough to prevent over insertion (even for beginners). However, the ring is super flexible and will stretch to fit around large fingers, so you can use it without giving yourself arthritis while having to hold onto it constantly.

This toy is soft and has a very nice texture. When applied with a small amount of water-based lube, the material felt really slick and held on to the lube.

As for working with a beginner goes, the design and shape of this product has an appealing look to it. However, the issue is that it's labeled as an anal toy, yet it is not suitable for such use. The bulb's size seemed perfect, but the ring base was poorly designed for its intended use. It is great if you use the ring as a handle to keep a finger in throughout playtime. However, I would not recommend leaving the toy unattended during use, because the ring base is not wide enough to stop the entire toy from slipping inside.
