Pony tail small - butt plug discontinued by Icon Brands - review by Kilgorescowboy

If you are interested in getting into pony play or just curious what it would be like to have a tail the Fashionistas pony tail plug would be a good starter. Being glass the plug won’t bend or give at all once inserted or during insertion so I wouldn't recommend just jamming this plug up your ass.

The plug portion of this tail is made of hard smooth borosilicate glass that has a chic design of vines, birds, and dragonflies tattooed on the glass. The pattern feels slightly raised when you rub your finger over it but there's no way you will feel this during insertion. I was a little concerned the pattern might scratch off but after using my fingernails and some force I have come to the conclusion that it isn't coming off.

The tail is made of many strands of a slick kinky nylon material. I am not a big fan of the tail. You can use it for lightly lashing or teasing the skin if you so choose. To me it just felt too coarse and stiff so lashing and teasing were more of an itchy stingy feeling.

The tail measures 19" in length from the tip of the glass plug portion to the end of the nylon strands. The tail is 15" of those inches, and the glass plug is 4". The insertable length is 2 3/4", circumference is 4", the diameter is 1", and the neck diameter is 1/2". The rounded tip of the plug is pointier than I find comfortable when inserting things into my ass.

The neck of the plug seemed too slender to me. I know borosilicate glass is pretty tough and durable but I am a little concerned that even with that being the case if you bumped it around and there was even the slightest fracture that you might not detect, such a slender section might just go ahead and break during play. This may just be paranoia on my behalf. Below the slender neck of the plug a 1 1/4" disk (also made of glass) extends out and around to create a base for stabilizing the plug and allowing only the section meant for insertion to enter the anus. The base is not big but it is glass so it isn't going to be as comfortable as a flexible material sitting between your cheeks. From the bottom of the disk shaped base the plug extends in a 1/2" tube, which is where the nylon strands are fed into and secured.

I didn't find insertion of the plug to be too comfortable due to the overly pointy tip on the plug, but once inserted the plug did stay in place and sit comfortably where it should. The worst thing about the tail for me is the nylon that the strands are made of. It is scratchy and unpleasant feeling to me; I would have preferred something softer and more pleasing to the touch.

You will want to store this somewhere the glass won’t get bumped around. Use any kind of lube you like with the plug since it is glass. I wouldn't boil the plug because I am not sure if it would damage the nylon strands or make them detach from the plug. I would also be concerned boiling might damage the nice silver designs on the plug. I used warm water and soap, and then dried the tail portion the best I could and let it sit out to air out and made sure it was completely dry before putting it away.
