I bought this bit gag months ago to use with the partner in some BDSM play. We love it! I always tie the ties with a box knot to prevent the soft ties from slipping out of the knot and ruining my play session. I love that the ties are so long. When my forearms are cuffed behind my back, I have enough length to attach the ties to the cuffs and keep my head pulled backwards. Also, if you slip the ties out of the bit, you can use them to bind or blind just about anything.

This bit gag is durable and easy to use. It's made of a clear plastic that is pliable but not soft. The bit is wide enough that it should easily extend past the edge of your mouth, so you never have to worry about straps cutting into the corners of your mouth. The tie passes through the large hole in the center of the cylinder, so it's easily removed when it's time to clean up. The one drawback with the bit is that its loose attachment to the tie means that it can shift around in your mouth if you aren't careful. If that happens, it's easy to shift the bit back to the center of your mouth.

The ties have a satin-shine, which looks great on. A big bow looks a lot more appealing than the buckles on some other gags. Also, because you're tieing it on, the gag is completely adjustable. With other gags that you buckle on, the straps can be a bit uncomfortable, and it can be difficult to find the right level of tension without pinching or cutting into your lips. This bit gag gives you all of the flexibility you could want!

After use, the ties can be easily slipped out from the bit. Hand-washing of the ties is recommended, although, I throw it in the laundry machine in an intimates bag and have yet to notice any negative effects from that. I also wash the bit with warm, soapy water to keep it clean.
