There is not any fraying along the edges, and the metal rivets that hold the cuffs together are sturdy and secure. The handcuffs are bound together via d-rings with a lobster claw attachment that can be taken on and off of one of the d-rings in order to separate them, thus giving the user more options when using the cuffs.



The cuffs feature six adjustment holes in the strap and can fit a number of wrist sizes. The total length of the cuffs are 12 inches in length and are 2-1/2 inches wide.

The Flogger :
The flogger of this set is the star attraction, as it's the where the set gets its name. The flogger is also the non-vegan side of the set, as it features leather falls, which have a scent you would expect from genuine leather. These falls are soft and smooth on one side, and on the other, the leather is more natural, but not rough. The falls do shed, and there are minimal amounts of rough edges along them, but this isn't anything to worry about as it's natural for them to look this way. The handle features a shiny rhinestone wrap which is hot glued down to a harder base all in one string. The glue is slightly sloppy, but it holds the rhinestones in place well. However, the rhinestones may dislodge over time with sweat and bodily fluids.

Cleaning :
The set should be wiped down with a damp cloth should any fluids come into contact with the materials. Do not soak the set in water, and do not use harsh soaps to clean the surface of the materials as this will damage the set beyond repair. Allow to air dry and store the set in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight, as sunlight will damage the materials as well, and cause them to begin cracking. When cleaning the flogger, be careful not to allow too much water on the rhinestones as it could dislodge them, but be sure to wipe it down thoroughly, as the rhinestones make the flogger harder to clean.

Packaging :
The set came discreetly shipped in a plain, cardboard box. The set itself was packaged inside of a clear cellophane bag without instructions. If gifting this item, please place it in a gift bag or box, as the original packaging is not discreet enough. All packaging is recyclable and is not meant for storage purposes.

Our experience with this set was great. We really enjoyed the flogger and the softness of the blindfold and cuffs. While this set is geared toward the beginner, it's great for those who want to have a light session of BDSM play as well, and those who want to add a bit of a shine to their sexual activities. I used the d-rings on the cuffs to tie my partner's hands to either bed post with some bondage rope, and the blindfold really kept her from seeing what I would be doing to her with the flogger. She mentioned that she could only see a tiny bit of light around the nose area of the blindfold, but could not see what was actually going on.

The flogger has a light but noticeable sting when putting force behind the swings. It's not painful, but it feels like a light swat as the falls make contact. The falls swing perfect in unison, and they don't tangle up a lot. Whenever they do, a light shake is all that is needed for the falls to untangle again. The handle feels slightly rough in hand, but this helps to grip the flogger better. The chain is securely fastened to the ring at the end of the flogger and is large enough to fit most wrist sizes for extra security when holding and swinging. The ring at the end of the flogger also turns completely around so that the wrist chain never tangles.

She couldn't get free from the cuffs even with a lot of twisting and writhing, and the buckles are really sturdy for such an affordable item. Users have to remember though that this set is geared toward beginners, so the cuffs shouldn't be used in suspension or other heavier play.
