Big Smackeroo

If you're looking for a lightweight paddle that packs a good sting, and don't mind the cartoonish appearance, or if you want a humorous gift to give to that newly engaged pal, then this is the toy for you. If you want something to delve into light BDSM and for gentle love taps, or if you have limited storage space, move on.
Published:
Pros
Lightweight, thin, soft texture, interesting edges, might make a cute gag gift.
Cons
A bit large, problems with finding good storage places, goofy-looking for intended purpose.

extremely useful review
The Smackers Big Kisser paddle, while adorable, is for some serious smacking, and I don't mean of the lips.

It arrives in a basic plastic bag, with a little tag attached at the base of the handle with an image of the paddle on it (because, you know, we can't already SEE it or anything). The bag is worthless after you open it, but the paddle is flat and firm enough to be stored even in just a bookcase. In fact, I would almost encourage such storage, because other ways might be more burdening. It's pretty inflexible, and the length and width of it (not the thickness) would make it tough to find ways to store it in smaller drawers or toy chests.

The paddle was larger than I anticipated, despite "big" being in its name. The length of it much resembles that of my forearm. The width is definitely larger than my husband's hand. However, it is not much thicker than the cover of a dictionary or textbook. In fact, it actually feels a lot like being smacked with a book.

The texture feels like soft supple leather, even though it claims to just be a coated plastic. The edges give it away. Easy to clean, as fluids just wipe right off. It's also completely stiff. No give here! It's definitely not for light touches. For its rather substantial size (in comparison to my other paddles), it actually is quite light and easy to maneuver. Great for getting good force behind your love taps.

If you're fairly new to paddling, or if you're not big into the BDSM styles, this is probably not going to be the paddle for you. Yes, it's cute, but it HURTS with even the lightest power behind it. Like I said before, it's a lot like being smacked with a very lightweight book. If the idea of that turns you on, and you don't want to ruin your child's library of "Lil' Golden Books", this is the toy for you.
Experience
Honestly, we felt a little silly using it. The big goofy kisser lips kind of take away of the feeling of being naughty. I kind of felt like I was being dominated in Toon Town from Rodger Rabbit. It might make a fun gift for a bachelorette or bachelor party.

I will say that the unique curves, points, and edges did make for some interesting sensory play. We definitely had more fun with it in that manner than we did with it as it was intended to be used.

We also got quite the kick out of the "novelty only" warning on the tag, which is common with toys like this, but for some reason seemed even more absurd this time around.

It's not my favorite paddle. I prefer at least a LITTLE give in mine, which this does not have at all.
Follow-up commentary
I haven't used it much since the last review. The last time we did, it started to get a crease/bend near the base of the "lips", which means to me that it's rather cheaply made and likely won't hold up to those who are into serious spanking sessions. "For novelty only" indeed. If I were you, I'd just grab a dictionary off the bookshelf, it will do about the same thing and will hold up far better.
