Blind comfort

Might convince my girlfriend to try out some light BDSM through sensory deprivation with this blindfold; however, accepted it to review more from the fact that I sometimes need a blindfold for sleeping when traveling and this looked like a solid/discrete blindfold that might offer dual uses both in and out of the bedroom.

Use

The primary use of this product is for BDSM play ranging from soft/beginner to intense/advanced, it could be used in sensory deprivation play, texture play, teasing, etc. The blindfold is extremely comfortable and seems like it would fit a range of head sizes. I have an over-sized head and it was still comfortable on it.

We may opt to use it for soft BDSM play in the future; however, the primary way we'll likely use this initially would be as a blindfold. There are times when you want to try and sleep (in bed, on a plane, in a car, etc) but there is too much ambient light. This blind fold does not call attention to the fact that it is anything other than a blindfold, as such it can be used in non-sexual applications and still be useful.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

The blindfold appears to have some kind of foam for the eye covering. The edges of this foam appear to have cotton sewn to the edge. The band that holds the blindfold onto the head is elastic that is attached to the foam initially by a rivet and then it's folded back (to prevent the rivet from rubbing your face) and sewn with a single stitch on top of are with the cotton fold stitch.

This construction seems reasonably well done, and I really like that there are two points of attachment for the elastic to insure it holds/is more durable.

The blindfold fits well and blocks out most light, but for mine and my girlfriend's faces there is a small amount of light that sneaks in on the arch of the nose due to the wideness of this component. Comfort in place of perfect blackness.

Performance

I'm not sure how much to write here, but it requires 200 characters. It's a blindfold, and it did a great job of blocking out the light and obscuring our ability to see anything. It's comfortable and feels like it could be worn for a long period of time, in case you wanted to use it for extended play or to sleep with it on.

    That's a nice purple. How about leaving it out with some nice lingerie and furry cuffs. Or perhaps one of those tie down sets. Humm, now I'm getting some ideas of my own.

    Nice review. I'm surprised that Eden gave you the option to write an extended form review. They don't usually do that for simple items like blindfolds. Too bad this lets in a bit of light. I have found that the super cheap, simple blindfolds work best for my face shape.
