Care and maintenance of your Spartacus Y-Style Nipple and Clit Clamps is a breeze. Just wash it off with mild soap and water and towel dry. Storage on the other hand may prove to be a bit more tricky since the chain hitting against itself makes a loud sound. If it is simply thrown in a ziplock bag in the bottom of your drawer, it may be heard when searching for something else in there. For me and my husband, storage is not an issue. We just let it sit inside a soft sock in our toy box.

As always, EdenFantasys shipped my product in a plain cardboard box with nothing at all on the outside of the box or the return label that would hint as to what is inside. Rest assured, when your mail man delivers your box, it will not be an embarrassing moment. Also, EdenFantasys packs their boxes with care to ensure that there is no damage to your products during shipment.

When I received the Y-Style Clamp, it was in Spartacus' item packaging. It was a plastic box with a cardboard insert, which held the chain and clamps all in one place with no slipping or sliding around. The front of the package displays two photos of a model attaching the clamps to her breasts. No warning or product usage information was included. In additon, this package is not intended as a storage container for the item.

While reading other reviews of these clamps, I noticed a reoccuring theme of these clamps being too small. I would like to expand on my thoughts in this erea.

These Spartacus Clamps are medium in size and are approximately two times the width of a standard alligator clip, which is commonly seen used on decorative leather and feather hair decorations/clips. Therefore, it is very possible that those with very small nipples, (ones which do not have much length away from the body) will have some issues with the clamps staying on the nipple.

I have had no issues with these clamps slipping or not fitting my nipples, but my husband has.

Lori- 1/2 long; 1/4 diameter.
Rich- 1/4 long; 1/8 diameter.

I also found in my experience that those who have a small clitoris, or one that does not come out far from the body, may also have the same issue with the clamp not staying on. In this case, I suggest trying to use the clamp in such a way that the hood is also clamped along with the clitoris.

Since this item restricts blood flow, it is important to remember to check the clamped area frequently for blue or purple discoloration of the skin and any numbness or tingling. As with all items of this type, the clamps are not recommended to be worn for over 30 minutes at time. In addition, I found that when removing the clamps from your nipples quickly the blood flow returning to the area caused intense pain for about a minute. Therefore, I recommend slowly releasing the pressure from the clamp with the screw to allow the blood flow to return slowly to. We found that, with Rich's help, slowly removing the clamps was exciting in itself.

Being a 40 something couple, my husband Rich and I have been exploring new areas of our play time in order to spice up our 17 year marriage. When considering all of the possible users for these clamps, I would say that my husband and I fall on the side of "really just a little curious". Also, I must admit that when we were considering some sort of clamps, these looked a bit intimidating with the heavy chain. However, we opted to get these over what looked like the dainty nipple tweaser clamp style that are also avalible on this website. Nonetheless, we were eagerly anticipating the arrival of our EdenFantasys package.

On the afternoon that UPS delived our discreet little brown box, I was excited to check out this item. I honestly waisted no time trying them on. I removed the clit clamp and chain, loosened the srew about half way, and popped it on. After having to bend over and pick up the clamp and chain, I realized these must need to be tighter. I fumbled around with trying to screw it down and fit on the clamp. Voila! It worked, and even with the weight of the chain, I did not feel any real pain at all. All I felt was a feeling of heaviness. Even though I felt pretty weird, I walked around the house with them on under my shirt. Rich was unware of me wearing them and did not hear the distant sound of a chain clattering under my shirt over the sound of the T.V. He did not have a clue, that is until I whispered in his ear. I must say that after wearing them for a short while that afternoon, I was aroused by the clamps and anticipated our date later that night.

Thinking back on that night and our exerience using the Spartacus clamps, I am very pleased that we decided to give these a try and will be keeping them in our toy box for a long time. I really liked that the clamps are so easily adjusted by the screw. They take a bit of finesse to get the hang of how to keep the screw going in the clamp straight and the left handed threads. After a few times of working with it, however, Rich was able to change the pressure whenever we wanted. As I have eluded throughout this review, there was no real pain at all while wearing these clamps. To be frank, I have never experienced this type of nipple stimulation. While wearing them, my experience that night was heightened.

Asking my husband about his experience, I was delighted to hear that he felt the look of the clamps and chain on me was intense and exciting. He also enjoyed me experimenting on him with the clamps, and he looks forward to purchasing some tweezer style clamps for himself.
