Use

Handcuffs are one of those essential bedroom bondage accessories that everyone, from beginners to advanced players, should have on hand. Even if bondage isn't your thing, a set of cuffs comes in handy for role play, too. Anyone can wear a set of handcuffs, male or female: you can even cuff your partner to yourself or a stationary object. The Sex and Mischief Fluffy Handcuffs are great for all of these situations, but only if you happen to have tiny wrists, as they are are the small side. For those who are just beginning to dabble in the world of restraint play, or have never used handcuffs before and might be a little intimidated by handcuffs, this set comes equipped with a safety release should you need to free yourself or your partner quickly.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

The Sex and Mischief Fluffy handcuffs are made out of light weight, nickel free metal, and come with black faux fur sleeves that cover the part of the cuffs that go around the wrist. The faux fur makes the cuffs a bit more comfortable, but does not provide very much padding. The set is very lightweight compared to real police handcuffs and will work better for light use, as it may not stand up to heavy abuse and will not work for suspension play.

The two cuffs are separated by three metal rings that connect them together; there is about three inches between the two cuffs. The cuffs themselves are about 4 inches tall and can accommodate wrist sizes from 5 inches in circumference to 7 inches in circumference.

The set comes with two keys used for unlocking the handcuffs when someone is bound by them. There is also a safety release found on the side of each cuff, which will also spring open the handcuffs and release whoever is restrained by the cuffs.

Performance

For light bondage play these are great, as long as you have small enough wrist to wear them. The handcuffs are lightweight enough to not be too painful or uncomfortable if worn for any amount of time. The set also features a safety release, just in case something happens and you need to release your partner or yourself quickly: no fumbling with tiny little keys.

Care and Maintenance

This handcuff set is made up of two different pieces; the metal cuffs and the faux fur covers. Should you need to wash them, separate the faux fur covers from the metal cuffs and wash accordingly. The faux fur can be washed in cold water and hung to dry; they should never be placed in the dryer. The metal cuffs can be wiped off with a toy wipe or a diluted bleach solution, or can be washed with warm water and antibacterial soap. Just make sure that they are thoroughly dried after cleaning to prevent rust.

Packaging

The Sex and Mischief Fluffy Handcuffs come in a thick black and white cardboard box which is anything but discreet. The front of the box features a woman wearing just a thong, holding the handcuffs down her back in a teasing manner. The back of the box has a short short, flirty, fictional story that features the use of the handcuffs.

Experience

For light play these are great, but they remind me more of costume jewelry than bondage gear. They would be the perfect accessory for a police costume or a great way to experiment with a little fantasy in the bedroom. For my partner and I, these are just a bit too small. They just barely fit me, but don't even come close to being able to fit around his wrist, which is too bad since we rather like playing with handcuffs. I also tend to prefer the heavier metal cuffs over thin lightweight ones like this. But for those who are just starting to experiment with handcuffs, a lightweight economical pair like these may be perfect for you.
