Draw A Bead On It

The Sex & Mischief Beaded Flogger is a neat little flogger that is great for those who are not heavily into giving or receiving pain. It delivers a light stinging slap to bare skin that doesn't leave a mark, and can be easily used by even a novice. Those looking to do damage or be challenged by a toy should look for a different flogger.

Use

The Sex and Mischief Beaded Flogger is definitely a great tool for beginners who wish to make a foray into the world of BDSM, though more advanced users can certainly make use of this handy little flogger. The flogger provides more of a gentle snap than a lash, so if you are looking for a toy for high impact play, this may not be the one for you.

Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features

The Beaded Flogger is a small, gentle flogger for casual use. The strap is approximately 7" long, with about 1.5" of beads, followed by around 7" of falls, which are contained with what looks like a rubber version of a crimp tube (used in jewelry) or ferrule.

The strap is about 1" wide, which is comfortable for snagging around your wrist to give you more control, though this can be cumbersome if you are trying to work up a circular swing, depending on how big your hands and wrists are.

The strap is a comfortable faux leather lined with a thin, slightly fuzzy coating. The beads are wooden and painted black, though it's not clear what type of paint was used. The strands themselves are made of rubber and are close to the same size as cooked spaghetti, making the sting of this flogger very mild when compared to other materials and widths. It seems well made with strong stitching, so it should last through many uses.

There is surprisingly little smell to the flogger, given that it's made with rubber. This flogger may not be safe for use by those who have latex allergies, so exercise caution. It can safely come into contact with lube and bodily fluids, which can then be easily removed.

Performance

The flogger is pretty gentle. I was able to use it with a maximum of force without pain or leaving a mark. A bit of redness and stinging can result, but it is very mild compared to other materials, such as leather.

The beading can make using the flogger a bit difficult. There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to trying different swings, as the beads move under the bit of strap that overlaps them. Slower, more deliberate swings seem to be the easiest to use, and help with aim.

Care and Maintenance

Storing your Beaded Flogger is easy. It doesn't really need any special care. You can keep it free of lint and dust by keeping it in a plastic bag.

Cleanup is a snap (pun!) using a soft, damp cloth, and even a little bit of mild cleanser, but it shouldn't really be necessary to go too deeply into cleaning the flogger.

Packaging

The Beaded Flogger came in a simple, clear plastic bag with a cardboard tag attached by a plastic tie. No muss, no fuss.

The tag contains a rubber latex warning, and a QR code that you can scan to view more Sex & Mischief/Sportsheets products online.

Personal comments

As an incredibly pale person whose skin marks easily, I was surprised to find that this flogger left me with no marks. My skin was a little pink where it was slapped, which quickly went away.

I enjoyed using the beaded flogger to tease my partner's sensitive inner thighs and deliver quick, mild slaps to his upper legs and buttocks, though it is really not much use through clothing.
Follow-up commentary
The Sex and Mischief beaded flogger has held up to moderate use, without sustaining damage or losing quality. It's still as stingy as ever and fun to use.
