Extreme pure gold cuffs - wrist cuffs by Cal Exotics - review by bluekaren

I was pretty excited when I got these cuffs in the mail. The whole Pure Gold line from California Exotics looked sexy and fun! I do believe that California Exotics has released ankle cuffs that match, and possibly even a blindfold too. So if glitter doesn't bother you, you could get the whole set! The leopard print is sexy and fun!


The cuffs are fully adjustable up to 7 3/4". They fit my wrists, which are rather small, very well. When I wore them during play, they did not chafe or leave marks on my skin. They did however, leave glitter. The leopard print of the design has silver glittery material, and it sheds something fierce! The inside of the cuffs is black and unremarkable.


The chain link connecting the cuffs comes off, as it is connected by a chain with clasps connecting the D rings on each cuff. The chain is about 5" with another 1 1/2" for each hook clasp. This is too long for a chain, I think. I have mixed feeling about the bondage play factor, unless you have a fixture to hook these up to. I would think even an amateur could get some use out of these cuffs. Being that the wearer would be able to get out, the threat would not feel menacing. In my opinion the chain is too long allowing no real "bondage" for the wearer. I would have been able to take them off with no problems, if I had wanted to! These cuffs can be used without the linking chain and tethered to any fixture you might already have in place for play. This set is heavy duty and showed no sign of resistance when I pulled it to test its limits.



These cuffs came in a box with a sexy blond on the cover showing off her bound wrists. The other side of the box showed a detailed picture of the product itself, so the packaging was not very discreet. The nice thing about California Exotics is that they offer a warranty on their products. The box gives the website VibeTronics which is where you can go to register the product. This means that they stand behind their products.

I had a lot of fun being bound by these cuffs! I know we will get a lot of use out of these. The glitter left behind is not enough to deter me from getting these out when we want a little bondage. The chain is useless to us so we just use the cuffs by themselves and just tether the cuffs.
