The Black Cat Collar by Aslan Leathers is a fairly decent choice for anyone. It is very sharp looking and can be used for BDSM or just as an accessory to give someone an extra hot look. Since it's made out of patent vinyl, it is not extremely comfortable for extended wear. There is an O-ring at the front for looks, a leash, or my favorite is to thread chained nipple clamps through.

The design on this is nice. But mine was not very well made. I'm not sure if it's just the one I received or not. This collar is made of patent vinyl. The main part of the collar is 1 1/2 inches wide and 16 inches long. The vinyl is folded on both sides, stitched down on each side and then meets in the middle of the top. This is where some of the problems come in.

It is not stitched down or secured all the way around. Both of the ends are unfinished and are already starting to peel back a bit. Also where the vinyl meets in the middle is only lightly glued down. The top strip of vinyl is 3/4 of an inch wide, and 19 inches long, also sewn down on both sides, also unfinished on the ends. The top layer attached by 10 round metal rivets that are spaced out across it. One issue I have with these is that mine are uneven, there are six rivets on one side of the center O-ring and 4 on the other, and this is noticeable. Also the top layer was now riveted down smoothly so there are some bumps. At the center is a triangular ring with an O-ring on top of it which can be used for a leash or just for looks. Though it doesn't say it in the description this can be a locking collar because the buckle has a small loop at the end of the pin. This is a very sharp looking collar! I just wish it had been better made.

This worked well in that it looked great, was easy to put on and take off. But it is a bit scratchy on the back where the stitching and rivets are and because it is patent vinyl it can get a bit warm under the collar. We did use it with my chained nipple clamps and it worked well and really looked hot.

Because this is vinyl all you need to do to clean it is damp wipe it. As far as the unfinished edges and middle of the bottom leather goes, I'm just going to lightly glue them back down.

This collar was something that I really wanted to love. It was meant for me to wear because the one my husband has is 2 inches wide and that's too much for me. And in spite of all of it's drawbacks, I do like this enough to continue to use it. But I truly think this should have been better made. And I will continue looking for a better collar. I definitely think I will go with leather next time.
