I have always preferred for my submissives to be unable to unfetter themselves whenever they wished. Metal hand cuffs, metal shackles, and chain often, of course, suffices for this cruel restraint I have a desire for. But they are also uncomfortable and often difficult to wear for longer periods.

The pair of leather cuffs we currently own are comfortable for long term wear but do not lock and if the girl can reach her restraints, even with her teeth or in some cases toes, she can, and has in the past, removed them. Expecting the submissive to be on their best behavior is no better to me than just telling them to sit still without any bondage at all.

What is a dominant to do? Enter the Spartacus Locking Wrist Restraints. Genuine leather, thick metal rings, and 10 metal rivets per cuff make this product strong, durable, comfortable for long term wear, and secure. The cuff buckle provides a secure ring large enough to pass through a small or medium sized padlock. Once the lock is engaged there is no way, short of cutting the cuff off, that the submissive will be able to remove them and escape.

The soft, pliable leather makes these cuffs comfortable enough for long term wear and play. The durability of genuine leather as opposed to, say pleather material, means that these cuffs are tough and can handle some serious tugging, straining, and all around struggling. Yet are so comfortable my girl gives them a 10/10 for comfort and wearability.

These cuffs feature an added o-ring attached to the standard D ring that comes with most cuffs. Having the extra ring provides a number of benefits:

First, the ring adds about an inch to the connection, allowing two additional inches of space between the pair for those who may need a little extra when being bound behind the back.

Secondly, having the second ring allows for more movement and flexibility in bondage. When binding my girl with our previous single tie off ring cuffs, they tend to pull in a single direction, fixing the wrists or ankles in one position. With the second ring, these cuffs can be pulled just as tightly and still allow for some sway and a touch more comfort for the submissive.

Lastly, the added ring makes a delightful tinkling sound as they move. If you have a sneaky submissive, these cuffs will definitely let you know they are right around the corner waiting to pounce.

A couple of notes, remember that leather is a porous material and as such cannot be completely sanitized if it comes in contact with body fluids. Also, being leather submerging these cuffs in water would be damaging as would excessive water washing. Alcohol wipes or hand sanitizer will dry out leather quickly causing it to crack and chafe. There are a number of leather conditioners out on the market that will protect the leather and extend the life of your cuffs.

Storing these cuffs is easy, being soft and pliable they can be placed in a toy bag or kept in a bedside drawer for easy retrieval, as we do ours. They take up almost no space.

Over all, given the <$30.00 price tag, I feel these cuffs are an excellent addition to any toy bag.

These cuffs have replaced our previous pair of wrist cuffs for all our play. They have proven to be quite durable, strong, and resilient.
