This is a great basic. It's a hog tie for use with cuffs. I love these because it avoids the need for rope. I much prefer to use cuffs do to a health condition, and this allows us that freedom. This is actually my second one. The first is heavier and shorter, so I picked this up for a change of pace.

It's well suited to beginners and intermediate users. It is sturdy enough for some rough play, but it can't take nothing but rough play.

This is traditionally used with one clip connected to a cuff. These are used with wrist cuffs and ankle cuffs. You can also get creative. Attach a clip to a collar or a ring on a piece of furniture. You are only limited by your imagination with this.

OK, I can be a bit of a snob when it comes to BDSM gear. These are ok, but I am not impressed. They took a lot of acceptable materials to make an acceptable product. I would have been happier paying a tad more for a really great product.

The metal pieces are mixed. The clasps are a metal that is not magnetic while the rivets and o ring are. None of it feels strong enough to be steel, but I can't say for sure. The o-ring feels sturdy and the clasps are ok, but the rivets are a bit concerning. They could be a lot sturdier.

The leather is alright, but a bit rough. A little leather conditioner helps a lot, but it would have been nice if they had done that.

The measurements are:

1 3/8" for the o-ring
4.25" for the leather straps
2" for the clips

This is a nice enough product. The clips work well and it is sturdy enough. We aren't expecting this to hold up for more than a year, but we play really hard. The only thing that I am concerned about not holding up well is the rivets. They will be fine if there isn't a ton of struggling.

These are going to need the same care as any leather item. Store them however you like as long as it is cool and dry. They don't need to be kept away from specific types of materials. You can't get them completely wet, but you can wipe them down and dry them off if you need to.

You will want to use a leather conditioner on them fairly regularly. If you do so, they will last you a very long time.

The packaging was kind of anticlimactic, but when it comes to hogties, any packaging is more then what I normally get. The front and back have a male model from behind (man butt!) wearing the hogtie. He has on a thong, so he isn't revealed, but I also wouldn't call it discreet. The sides are covered in the product description in multiple languages. Inside, there is a brochure that has tons of great info about how to maintain the collar and cuffs in a bunch of languages as well.
