Pink plush collar and leash by Topco Sales - review by Sir

If you like your little girl/boy looking like the pretty little ones they are, then this is definitely a collar for you. The Pink Plush Collar and Leash is an adorable accessory—my little girl loves the color pink (as well as anything frilly) and this was perfect for us. It’s a cuter, submissive, “show-y” collar that isn’t really made to be used for rough or hard play. It’s made to be worn out, around, and make your submissive look nice and sweet.

When I received the Plush Collar & Leash, it was in an unattractive packaging that folded it and made it smooshed. It was hard to get it back to its circular shape, so I recommend wrapping it around a cylinder-like object (maybe the foot of a chair, bed, water bottle) and holding it together with a clasp. A few times use around your partner (or you) should get it back to a normal-looking shape.

This outside material certainly is unlike any leather that I’ve seen. Though it claims to be leather on Edenfantasys, it’s extremely flimsy, lacks a leather smell, and is extremely thin. Perhaps it is actually leather—maybe I’m wrong. But if it is, it certainly is one of the lowest grade leathers that I’ve seen. One the inside of the collar is a soft, fluffy comfortable faux-fur. It’s something that is really fun to move your hands through—it’s almost like an animal rug. Something strange that it’s in random places on both the handle of the leash and the collar is a velvety-textured inside. I’m not sure what this material is (it doesn’t feel or look like suede), but it is very soft to the touch. To clean all the pieces of this set, wipe them down with a damp towel and let out to dry.

This collar is better for softer love-making, and I definitely do not recommend using it for any rough play. It’s a cute collar that isn’t made to be used for any sort of suspension, long period wear, or rough dragging around. Its main purpose is for show—to be sweet, pretty, and attractive. Note: If you want something that you can use roughly, do not buy this collar. It will fall apart.

The leash is a bit on the short side at 22” (not including the handle—the handle is 5 ”), but that's alright for certain types of lovemaking. For times when you’re wanting to keep your partner at close hand, or keep their neck up straight, shorter leashes are a very good thing. In cases like dragging your partner around or tying them up somewhere, a long leash is definitely a good investment. Personally, I like the shortness of this one because I don't have to have a long leash hanging down when I pull at my little girl. It's also the only leash that I have of this length. Also, its chain is very interesting—unlike normal leashes, this one has oval shaped rings that do not lay flat when put down. If you look closely at the Edenfantasys pictures, you’ll see what I mean.

My biggest thing that I have against this leash (really its only thing) is the buckle. The buckle on the front is so aggravating that I end up giving up on it when I’m putting it on my little girl. There are two metal pieces—one that holds the collar in place at its desired adjustment, and one that holds down the excess. The piece that holds the excess does nothing at all. It simply flops around and doesn’t hold down the excess material. It’s extremely frustrating and bothersome.

Though the material of the Pink Plush Collar and Leash does make it seem like it's not worth even bothering to buy, it definitely is (despite the annoying buckle). It's comfortable, attractive, and, even though it's not leather (or high-grade leather, at least), it feels (and looks) great when it's worn. It’s not exactly made for those who are interesting in rougher collars that are more intimidating, but it is a cute alternative to the regularly seen BDSM collars.

I'm very annoyed at the buckle on the front. It's so annoying to get closed, I get frustrated every time I take it out. I do wish that it was made better, maybe even changed to a firmer buckle design or a locking collar. It would really improve the design of this collar.

You know, I used to love this collar and leash set. I still do think that it's cute, as cute as I thought it was then. But the buckle has just really gotten me angry. I'm so extremely fed up with the buckle that this collar is almost dead to me. I'm thinking of working up something so that I can install a new buckle.

I do like the leash though. Very cute.
