Playtime cuffs - wrist cuffs by Blush Novelties - review by Cerianis

These cuffs were bought with much eagerness, only to be a total letdown once they arrived. The weight, look and feel of the cuffs was pretty decent, until we went to use them. My wrists are quite small compared to some people's, but the cuffs with the pretty pink fluff didn't even come close to fitting, and without the fluff, they just plain hurt. It was difficult to slide the cuffs onto my wrists, and I did not even want to attempt using them during sexual play. Suffice it to say, considering the handcuffs were for me, my partner and I didn't use them all that much, but we did try them on him. His wrists are slightly smaller than my own, and thus, they were a little more comfortable on him, even with the fluff left on. The cuffs worked great once they were on, if you don't mind the fact that you can't really secure them to something once they are on the wrists.

In terms of cleaning and care, there's not much to mention. I would mostly suggest avoiding using them in water and to keep them in a clean, dry spot. The material, if used without the fluff covering, tends to warm up quite quickly. That would probably be my only positive comment on these 'playtime cuffs'. After the first use, these cuffs were put into a drawer and mostly forgotten about.

I would only recommend these cuffs to those with considerably smaller wrists, or to those who don't mind a little extra pain and kink in their sexual play. Otherwise, these cuffs are all but useless to those who have larger than average wrists and those who don't enjoy a little extra discomfort and pain. However, the safety release is definitely a life saver if you lose the keys, or if you want to 'spring' the lock and surprise your partner!
