This flogger's main purpose is for use in impact play of those who like to engage in mild to heavy BDSM. It can be used by anyone, whether couples or solo to inflict mild to moderate pain on the intended areas you strike. The flogger can be used as a form of punishment, or as a reward to your partner/sub who misbehaves in the bedroom or at a play party, and is great for beginners to advanced users alike. Depending on how hard the person wielding the flogger strikes, it provides various amounts of sensations, whether light or heavy, both resulting in stinging blows. Add in a blindfold, some cuffs, and a gag, and you've got your own little party in the privacy of your home.

Use the flogger on bigger areas, such as the back, thighs, buttocks, legs or breasts/chest, as the falls are made to cover wider areas, and aren't the best for pinpointing smaller locations. There are 36, 5-16ths of an inch falls in total and they're grained leather on one side and soft suede-like on the back. The smell of leather is present from when you first open the package, and can be detected from a distance, so those sensitive to scent may not like it, but the smell of the new leather should dissipate over time.

The handle is made from braided grain leather, and is really flexible. A large hand can fit through the loop without problem, and it provides a wonderful grip. Below the handle, there is a leather wrap around the bottom of the handle just before the falls where it holds the flogger together. It's well-wrapped and doesn't look as though it will come loose anytime soon. The flogger is lightweight, so the user's arm won't tire after consistent use, and makes it easier to swing the falls.

The falls are springy and when pulled, they extend out more, but spring back to their original form when let go again. The ring itself has a herringbone pattern and if worn on the wrist is very comfortable. It doesn't pull hair or pinch the skin when encircling the wrist as some leather might. While the flogger doesn't have any special features, it is a wonderful flogger for the price. Users should consider this flogger fluid bound when used, as the material is highly likely to soak up any bodily fluids it comes into contact with.

If the falls get tangled during use, always untangle them when storing the flogger as this can also distort them. In order to hang the flogger you can use large s-hooks, shower curtain rings, or coat hangers for a quick organization in your closet.

The flogger was shipped discreetly inside of a plain, brown cardboard box. There weren't any indicators as to the contents of the box and it only had the addresses of where they were shipped from and to. EdenFantasys was not listed anywhere on the packaging. Once the box was opened, there were air pillows and the receipt inside. The flogger itself was wrapped in a plastic wrapper, and had a barcode sticker on the package for inventory purposes. There were not any instructions on cleaning or use, but none were needed with the flogger.

All of the packaging can be recycled if you'd like, as none of the packaging can be reused for storage. If gifting this item, you may wish to purchase a gift bag or box to pack it in, and should always tell the person you are gifting it to that it is an adult item in case they are easily embarrassed.
