These leather ankle restraints can be used on either the ankles or the wrists. They do not come with a tether or a locking device. But seeing how they might not be something a beginner would start out with, you should have enough BDSM toys in your toy box to use these without any problems. These are more of a heavy restraint type of toy. Your partner will not be able to wiggle themselves out of these, like you can with the cheaper ones.

These are designed really well. Lots of high quality and craftsmanship in these restraints. These are made from leather. The leather feels soft and thick. This is not the cheaper leather items you can get for a fraction of the cost.(you know what I am talking about bargain shoppers) The metal rings and belt clasp are all made from a chrome plated steel. On the inside of the restraints, it is lined with a soft thick fur. The fur keeps your partners wrists or ankles from getting marked up during play.

These should fit just about anyone. The belt has 7 adjustment holes for the belt buckle. My wife is on the small side, and they fit her perfectly.

These performed very well. Alot better then our sportsheet cuffs. Not that the sportsheet cuffs are cheap or do not work, they work very well for the price. But these ones outperform our sportsheet cuffs. As they should, they are over twice the price of the sportsheets.

These cuffs kept my wife right where I wanted to keep her. With the buckle straps, she could not wiggle her self free or undo the strap while her hand was in the cuff. She could with the sport cuffs. While this was not a problem for us, we are not into the hard core bondage. That might have been a problem with other shoppers. These cuffs kept her locked up. And when the night was done, not one mark on her wrists.

Being that these are made out of leather and fur, you should be careful with how dirty you get them. The leather is easy to wipe down with a damp cloth. But with the fur, things can get a little messy when it comes to keeping them clean. The only "dirt" that gets on ours is sweat and maybe a slight amount of lube. I have wiped them down with a damp cloth once, and it looks brand new. I can see this method causing damage to the material, if you are a clean freak and are cleaning them all the time. For us, it is just my wife and I in our bedroom; so I am not too worried about sharing bodily fluids with each other.

I think these can take some abuse from cleaning, if that abuse comes few and far apart. I would not want to use a cloth that was dripping wet to wipe these down.

We store ours in the drawer, or hanging up in the closet attached to our tethers. Realistically, you could store these just about anywhere. They don't scream sex. They looks like something that might belong on a leather jacket.
