Fetish Fantasy Series Limited Edition feather crop from Pipedream is a sexy feather crop that can be used in a few different ways. This toy doesn't work well when you use it on your own, it really needs to be used with a partner to get the full sensory/BDSM experience.

This toy can be used as a tickling toy or a light punishing toy depending on how naughty you've been. The feather end can be lightly touched to your partner's most ticklish and sensitive areas, whereas the crop can be used to remind your partner who's in control!

On top of being a sensory toy, it can also be used as an accessory to a role playing costume and looks like it could be paired up nicely with some of the wet look lingerie items like the ones seen here.

This is much for of a beginner toy than something an advanced user could use. It's very cheaply made and won't last through heavy play. This is strictly a light play feather crop and is a non-intimidating introduction into BDSM and sensory play.

Unless you're traveling to a play party and don't mind everyone seeing this crop, it's a little difficult to conceal. It would fit in a larger suitcase, and maybe a briefcase, but wouldn't fit into even a large purse.

I had such high hopes for this piece!

The whole piece is made from materials that are black, other than some shiny, silver tinsel strands mixed in with the feathers.



The feathers are held in place by being twisted, looped, and secured to the handle by both ends, which results in a small 'hole' in the center of your feathers. It's not obvious just by looking at it, but you can clearly stick your fingers through it. The feathers are soft, but mine had some issues that I'll address in a moment.


The handle is made from plastic, but has some sort of ribbon wrapped around the full length so that none of the plastic is exposed. It has a slight shine to it, and a silky feel. The plastic handle can bend a little, and does when you smack the crop end. Be careful that it doesn't bend too much, since doing go could cause your feather crop to snap.


The crop piece feels like it's a thick cardboard covered in shiny vinyl, but could be made from something else. It feels like you could bend it, but that you shouldn't, which is why it reminds me of cardboard. The look on the outside is very shiny and has a smooth feel to it.



None of the materials had a smell to them when I opened up the new feather crop.

The look of this toy seemed to nice. I loved the little silver pieces mixed in with the feathers. It looked like such a nice touch to the crop. Too bad that's the only thing that's nice about this toy.

The first thing I do when I receive a toy with feathers on it, is to run my hand over them to feel how soft they are. When I touched the feathers on this toy, I noticed that there were rough parts. When I looked closer I saw that it was hot glue that had gotten into the feathers, making several areas rough. Doesn't exactly sound like a sweet tickle for sensory play, huh?


After my heart sank when I saw the glue, I looked to the crop end and was equally unimpressed by the way they fixed the crop to the handle.


I understand that these things need to be held in place by something, but in my opinion a well made toy wouldn't have these things so obvious, and certainly wouldn't look as messy as it does on this piece!

All parts of this toy feel and seem very cheap. The feathers shed and leave little, black pieces everywhere, the handle doesn't feel solid enough to last thought more than a few light slaps, and the crop feels like it could bend and not go back to it's original shape. I really expected more from this feather crop, even with the low price tag.

This feather crop didn't even come close to meeting my expectations. The feathers won't work for sensory play unless I feel like scratching something rough along my partner's body, which doesn't sound nice for either of us!

The crop does slap, but I fear that the handle is going to bend and break during each blow. Thirty seconds after slapping the crop four times on my leg, these are the marks that showed up:


It was enough to leave some marks, but nothing that would cause a huge amount of pain. I liked the way it felt, but with the fear of the handle breaking, it's not even worth it to me.

There are many other similar options on Eden to choose from. Save your money and don't bother with this poorly made feather crop!

Feathers shouldn't be exposed to any type of liquid, so use caution around lotions, oils, lubricants, and bodily fluids. Should something get on the crop area of this toy, it could easily be wiped off with a damp cloth, but I would strongly recommend not running it under water.

Because of the length of the toy, it's a little harder to store than some. It would fit nicely in a dresser drawer, on a closet shelf, or in a long tote.

This feather crop arrived to me in a thin plastic bag that had a hang tag attached to the top. The entire crop was covered by the plastic bag. There's nothing discreet about this package since the plastic bag is totally clear.


The tag on the top says, 'Fetish Fantasy Series' and 'Feather Crop' on the front of it. The back has the company name and a tiny bit of information about the toy itself.



It's not very informative, but tells you the absolute bare minimum of what you should know about the toy. Inside the plastic bag, you'll find that the tag is attached to the toy with a small piece of plastic that you often see on children's toys. It's looped through the hole in the center of the feathers.


The plastic bag and tags can be disposed of, or the bag can be reused for storage.
