The design of the Enigma mask by Eden is a very intricate, beautiful, and alluring piece. It's made from Polyester and Spandex, and is both captivating and elegant with the lacy design and the way it accentuates the upper portion of the face. The material of the mask is soft and light and makes for a non-burdening piece when worn during play. It does not create a claustrophobic feeling as some masks may and is great for adding a touch of mystery to any outfit during intimacy. The materials are strong and hold up to wear quite well for such a delicate piece.



There were some frayed threads when it first arrived, but the mask wasn't unraveling. Users will want to treat it delicately, however, as it is still a lace mask that can get snagged on the smallest of things, such as fingernails, cuffs or jewelry. As long as the mask is taken care of, it should last the user a long time and hold up to plenty of play hours. The mask had no scent on taking it out of the packaging, which is a plus for pieces going on your face, and the fit is adjustable to any head size, so it's perfect for any user. The mask's ties are two ribbons stitched onto lace rings on the mask itself, and it ties at the back of the head for adjusting to any fit.

The mask is great for extended use and is comfortable when doing so. It's easy to tie and to adjust accordingly if there is any slippage involved. The ties are a little bit slippery, but they stay secure once they've been tied in a bow or knot. Users will want to tie the mask firmly to their head for maximum staying power; otherwise, the material may easily slip off the face with how silky the lace is. The mask is very light, so it doesn't feel heavy or bulky on the skin, and it's soft enough that the material doesn't cause any chafing over an extended time.

When my partner wore the mask, she didn't experience any issues with slipping or it becoming untied, even during rough play. We tied the mask using a knot, as a bow tie kept slipping in her longer, silkier hair. The strings on this mask were ample enough that we had leftover strands hanging at the back of her head, which did not get in the way during play either, or become a burden of any kind. Not everyone is going to love having a mask on their face, but those who have no issues with masks overall should take no issue with this one either.

Hand wash the mask in warm water with a mild detergent if any bodily fluids come into contact. Be careful when washing the mask, as it is very delicate and may come unraveled with rough care. After rinsing the detergent from the mask, allow it to air dry on a flat surface. To store the mask, keep it in a drawer with delicates, or lying flat in a space where there aren't any sharp objects to snag the lace. The mask is fairly simple to take care of, but it will require delicacy as it is still a lacy piece.
