To start out I would like to talk about the construction of this gag. The ball is obviously rubber and has a nice solid feel, but isn't to hard. This is great because it will last for a while but is nice and comfortable to wear. The leather strap also has great construction. It's soft, sturdy, and hooks well in the back. So there really are no issues as far as construction of this gag.

Next up — more importantly, what is it like to wear the gag? This gag is pretty comfortable for the user during short-term wear. the leather strap is soft and doesn't rub on the sides of the mouth and cause an uncomfortable chafing feeling, like some gags do. There are a few things that make this gag not the best for long-term wearing though. For one the ball is quite large, in comparison to other kinds of ball gags. This is sort of a con because after a certain period of time your jaw will become quite sore. Second, the leather straps do sometimes pinch your cheeks at the side of your mouth. I'd say the longest you would ever want to wear this gag is a half an hour. Any longer and it would probably become uncomfortable. You could stretch it out to an hour or so but I would advise against that. The only other negative to this gag is a slight rubbery smell and taste. However, that isn't the biggest deal and I expect it will dissipate over time.

As far as maintenance with this gag, there isn't much to do. Cleaning the gag after every use is crucial and will ensure the gag will last. I have two possible issues with cleaning this gag. The first thing that makes me nervous is the possibility for the leather to soak up drool and not come clean. The other possible issue is that the gag is not fastened perfectly tight on the strap and I'm worried moisture could become trapped under the ball. I don't fully expect these to become an issue but I thought it is worth mentioning.

Another thing to mention, which could be a con to some and a pro to others: because of the balls size it does cause copious amounts of drool to build up in the mouth and on the ball. As far as sharing the gag goes, it is probably ok if it is between you and your significant other but I wouldn't recommend sharing it with multiple partners. Of course, be sure to clean it extra well with hot, soapy water if you are planning on sharing it.
