Use

The Tingle Urethral Sound is an electro-sex version of a standard urethral sound. Equipped with the capabilities to attach to the ePlay Controller (sold separately), this Urethral Sound lets users experience an urethral sound and an electro-stimulation toy at the same time. A bit thicker than many urethral sound beginner sizes, the Tingle is best used by those who already have urethral sounding experience.

The cord on the Urethral Sound is long enough to attach to the controller with ease. This allows for very comfortable partner play. Make sure to communicate your experience with your partner during use, however. As electro-stimulation offers very little noise feedback, it's vital that you both practice open communication.

While the Tingle Urethral Sound was designed for urethral play, it could be used as a very, very slim dildo. It also could be used in bondage by wrapping it against the body to electrify the area. There are more effective ways of providing electro-sex to general skin areas, but the Tingle would allow you to experiment with more than just urethral play.

As Tingle will allow you to experience electro-sex play internally, make sure you know all safety and health information about electro-sex from top to bottom.

Material / Texture

This urethral sound is made from steel for easy sterilization and safe play. It has absolutely no texture on along the sound aside from the black band that's about 1/4 of the way up the shaft away from the tip.

Steel has no odor, and it's entirely non-porous. It also is extremely rigid and offers absolutely no flexibility. With its non-porous and entirely-untextured material, lubricant will last a long time after being applied to the surface.

Design / Shape / Size

The Tingle Urethral Sound has a pretty simplistic design. It's just a long, cylindrical urethral sound made from steel. The non-insertive end has a cord out of the end of it that plugs straight into the jacks in the ePlay controller. The tip of the sound has a slightly tapered end to aid in sliding the urethral sound in. About 1/4 of the way away from the penetrative tip, there's a small ring of what feels like plastic. This plastic ring can be irritating to the passage if you're sensitive to texture changes in your urethral sound. To help avoid any irritation, use plenty of lubricant near this area. If you still find it irritating, consider leaving the urethral sound stationary once the sound is inserted. Outside of this black band, the rest of the urethral sound is entirely smooth.

The cord is long enough to stretch between two people with no problem. This allows a partner to control the ePlay electro-sex controller while another person is receiving all of the sensations.

Most noticeable about the Tingle Urethral Sound is the size and thickness of the sound. At around 7mm, the thickness of this sound will be something that some beginners will not want to attempt. The thickness compares to the 6th or 7th thickest urethral sound if you were to buy a set of 10 urethral sounds (like most urethral sounds come packaged) and the 1st was the smallest and the 10th was the largest. This is not usually the thickness that most beginners start with, but depending on your anatomy, it's possible that this may be a comfortable thickness for you.

Functions / Performance / Controls

In order to experience the electro-sex sensations, the sound must be inserted past the black band that's about 1/4 up the shaft of the sound. (This is about an inch and a half away from the tip). If you're not used to deeper insertions, this may take some time to work up to. The electrosex sensations will only start to appear once the part of the sound past that black band is inserted into the particular orifice. Up until then, no electro-sex sensations can be felt. This means you should expect to be able to insert it as least as deep as that band.

The Tingle Urethral Sound seems best suited towards slipping the urethral sound in and then leaving it to experience the electro-sex sensations. While some sounds can be maneuvered regularly or inserted in and out, the black band around the Tingle seems to cause some irritation with the sound is continually moved. This means that this sound may be best for "set it and forget it". Insert it as far as you'd like it to go and then use the ePlay electro-stimulation controller to add stimulation from the electro-sex capabilities.

This urethral sound only offers electro-sex capabilities. It does not have any texture, or vibrations, or any other type of extraneous stimulation.

The Tingle Urethral Sound is entirely silent and discreet. You can't even hear a buzz or hum from the toy when it's in use. The only way to know it's on is by touching it.

Care and Maintenance

While all sex toys should be thoroughly cleaned before and after use, cleaning is of the utmost importance with the Tingle Urethral Sound. While most toys are inserted into orifices - which is still a reason for cleanliness - the urethral sound is inserted directly into the urethra which leads straight to the bladder. UTIs are fairly easy to contract off of a dirty toy (or even with the utmost attention to cleaning), so you should understand how to treat the Urinary Tract Infection before playing with urethral toys. Make sure to wash the Tingle thoroughly with warm water and anti-bacterial soap before and after every use.

Of course, as this is an electro-stimulation toy, you should also be aware of all of the safety and use concerns. Make sure that you and your partner have no pre-existing health conditions that may be affected by electro-stimulation.

Lubricant is an absolutely MUST with a urethral sound. When you think you've used enough lubricant, use even more. Do not use KY Jelly or other types of sex lubricants. You should be using medical, sterile lubricant in individually-packed packages for use with urethral sounds. You can pick them up at any medical supply store.

For storage, the Tingle comes in a drawstring velvet bag. The bag is unpadded, so be careful with where the bag is stored, but it will keep the urethral sound from getting any scratches or nicks on the surface of the toy.

Packaging

The Tingle Urethral Sound comes packaged in a drawstring velvet bag. The bag includes a small tag that identifies the item in the warehouse. Inside the drawstring bag, the urethral sound is wrapped up in white tissue paper. The drawstring bag can be used for long-term storage of the sound; as with any urethral toy, scratches or damage to the surface of the urethral sound means that the sound can't be used.

No instructions are included with the sound. However, using the sound is pretty simple: just plug it into the ePlay controller (sold separately).
