The hogtie is great if you want to restrict movement during play, or simply to be used as punishment. The soft and pliable nature of these restraints should work very well for those just getting into BDSM, or those who enjoy light BDSM. They can even be used for self-restraint with a bit of work and planning.

The overall design is simplistic and light. Each cuff is soft and plush. There is light padding as well. The clips on each cuff are sturdy metal, as is the central strap that connects all four together. They can easily be adjusted thanks to the velcro fasteners. As far as size goes, they work well on wrists and ankles.

I found them easy to use and fasten, even in a solo session. As long as you take care and think things through, at least. Each cuff was comfortable and the all black design is somewhat sleek and soft at the same time.

I like this set for it's versatility. You have two ankle and wrist cuffs, but you can also fasten two cuffs end to end, which is how they are packaged for delivery. This means the two wrist cuffs can double as a soft collar. You can place the doubled ankle cuffs around a single thigh and used the clips to then fasten that thigh to something. This could be the two wrist cuffs or pseudo-collar described earlier. As far as self-play goes, one thing to strongly remember is that before your second hand is cuffed, you need to attach the central ring to all four cuffs, if you are hog tying yourself. Just remember though to keep the velcro strap on at least one wrist, or preferably both, in a position you can easily reach with your teeth. It might be well to also keep the end of the velcro folded so that you can bite it easily and tug it back open to free one of your hands. This way you can easily free yourself.
