Sometimes enough isn't enough.

This product is well made and versatile, worth the investment. Though not universal with all cuffs, it is possible to make it happen with most.

We got these restraint straps|Tie-ups tie offs to connect together to make a DIY under mattress restraint system. We don't have a headboard on our bed, and we have a limited budget for extracurricular activities, so this really worked out for us. We use it with the Beginners Fantasy Bondage Kit|BDSM kit to get the most for our money. The way we used these is we buckled them together (2 and 2) and ran them under the mattress in a crisscross, then we tied the other kit to them. That way, we can use the more portable cuffs wherever we want to. When things need to be straightened up and out of the reach of prying eyes, we untie the beginner's set, put them away, and tuck this set safely up under the edge of the mattress.

This set up works well for us because when my husband is tied and he gets a little rowdy, they hold really well. You can also adjust the amount of slack available for your partner or yourself by tying the knot further out or in on the restraints. This set is designed to be used with a set of cuffs with click-together buckles, similar to what you find on backpacks and such. We don't own any cuffs like this, so I can't sat how well they stay buckled to the cuffs but they stay buckled to each other just fine. I think this set of straps is going to last us for a very long time. Even if the other set wears out or breaks, we can just invest in another set of cuffs and, viola!

The straps are made of nylon and the buckles are secured to the straps very strongly. Clean up is super easy, I just throw them in a pillow case and tie the top and put them in the washer. I let them air dry, I don't think nylon in the dryer is a good idea. They rarely get dirty because they are mostly under the mattress, but if the occasional mishap occurs the hardest part of cleanup is getting them back up under the mattress (which is not hard at all if you have another person to hold one side).

Did these cuffs rub or chafe? I have that problem with some kinds of restraints.

For us, the cuffs work great. They are soft and comfortable and niether one of us had marks. Just a side note, I pull on the straps, not the cuffs, so that might be why it didn't irratate my skin. My husband really doesn't pull much, he stays pretty still most of the time, but with the experience that we've had they stay super comfy :)

Oh yeah, the cuffs do not come with this set. They come with the beginners bondage fantasy set, we used this set together with that one.

So no problems with the straps moving around too much under the mattress during play?

I wouldn't think you'd have too much trouble with under the bed restraints if you put them under the matress--and not the actual frame--which is what I do. But I could be wrong.

Well, we have an unusually heavy mattress, one of the temperpedic ones, which is REALLY heavy, so no they haven't moved anywhere we didn't want them to. I'm sure it all depends on the degree at which you or your partner. . .pull or whatever. We can move them in the sense that we can make them go above the head of the bed or around to the sides. Is that what you meant?
