As you know from when you see the Pink Heart ankle restraints|Pink heart ankle restraints, they are cute. I mean super cute and a nice change of pace from black leather. If you want to display how girly you are, these are the way to go. The faux fur leather is incredibly soft on the skin and I was able to wear then comfortably for hours.

I wanted to give these a really good stress test so I took them to my friend Lord Braven’s party. We were going to have some fun with his new Tens unit in conjunction with my Hitachi Magic Wand, so I knew I would be tempted to try and squeeze my legs together as the orgasms came.

He tied the D-rings to some rope attached to the bed as I was spread eagle on it. As I strained against the ropes the Velcro held and did not come apart. The lining did its job in making the cuffs feel comfortable and I didn’t feel the edges of the cuffs once as I attempted in vain to pull my legs together. The rivets didn’t come loose as I had feared.

These are very basic cuffs, more for decoration than for hardcore use such as suspension. The construction is solid with the exception of the security of the D-ring. The rivets are too far apart and the ring shifts a lot from side to side. The D-ring is very thin and light, and therefore a bit more fragile. On one of the cuffs, the two sides of the straight part of the D-ring was coming apart. If the cuffs had a thicker D-ring this not only could have solved the sliding but kept the D-ring from stretching. It was easily fixed but as a bit of a hard player, they wouldn’t be strong enough for intense play.

I would recommend these cuffs for decoration and beginner bondage only. Anyone like me who really likes to be restrained and struggle against my bonds wouldn’t last very long in them. With the pink and the hearts I felt extra girly. I would love to see a version of these with thicker leather and buckles.
