The Tickling Cane.

The feathers are fantastic for sensual play, and the handle delivers a nice sting when you flip it around. It kept my husband from fighting his restraints during sensory play, without being too much.

Use

The body tickler is great for its intended use as a feather tickler and also as a low impact cane. If you hold the tickler just above the feathers, you can deliver a decent amount of pain with just the flick of your wrist. Quite nice if your tickled partner tries to squirm away.

This little light weight wonder has feathers on one end, with the head wrapped in shiny rubber. There's two different kinds of feathers; the longer ones that can be used for teasing, and the down feathers can be used for tickling. The down feathers are exclusively red. The longer ones vary between completely red, and red with black. There are roughly twenty longer feathers. There is a covering that can slide off of the end of the handle. It's made of the same rubber that covers the head of the tickler. It stays on strong, unless you pull it off. It is not glued, so don't be afraid that you're going to ruin the toy. The actual handle is made of a light plastic. It's relatively sturdy, but don't push your luck. Like anything, it does have a breaking point. When using this as a light weight cane, I found that you only have to flick your wrist to get the desired effect. If you were to take a full swing, you may break off the head or snap the handle.

Overall length (including feathers) - 20 1/2"
Length from the head to the end of handle - 15"
Length of head - 1 1/4"
Circumference of head - 2"
Circumference of handle - 3/4"
Length of feathers - 5 1/2"

Performance

When I first received the Sportsheets Body Tickler, I didn't have high hopes. I figured it would be like my other feathered toys. I was wrong. Since it has a long handle it allowed me to sit by my partner's side, rather than having to hunch over him. That alone won me over. After that, I figured that was the only thing that made it stand out. Again, I was wrong. Since, I use a wartenberg wheel when engaging in sensory play, my husband tends to jump when I run it over his ribs. I was thrilled to find when I flip the Body Tickler around, it doubles as a light cane. If you leave the rubber handle on the plastic, it delivers a more painful blow. If you take it off, it delivers more of a tight sting. Needless to say, I left the rubber on. Whenever my husband tried to shy away from the wartenberg wheel and pull on his restraints, I would land the Body Tickler's handle on his sweet derriere. If we didn't have such a large area to store or use the Body Tickler, I honestly don't know if we would use it as much as we do. Since we do, I'm glad to say that it makes its way into our sensory play, every time.
    • Good for teasing

Care and Maintenance

When I initially received the Body Tickler, I took an Eden Wipe to it. I waved the feather end around, to air them out. After that, I haven't used it to where bodily fluids get on it, so I haven't had to clean it again. Due to it's length I keep it with my crop and cane, in the bottom of a large suitcase.

Packaging

The Body Tickler was packaged loose, but with a product card attached to it. It has no information for cleaning and no information on what kind of feathers are used. Simply what it is, and how it can be used.

Thanks for the excellent review and pics! I know my wife would, at the very least, find this amusing. Her favorite porn scene involves a maid and a feather duster which looks a lot like this!

I love the "Violin Bow" descriptor! It's just a really different, slightly classy way of putting that, in my opinion. I would never have thought that a single tickler could have so many uses. Thanks for the review!
