Starburst Fantasy Feather is a feather tickler that measures 24" inches and feather is about 6 inches long, weighs 1oz. The 'wand' part of it is black plastic with a softer rounded piece on the end as a handle to make it comfortable to grip, that measures three and a half inches and has 'Sportsheets TM' embossed on it.



The Starburst Fantasy Feather comes in many pretty colors all of which are 'ticked' as in it's one vibrant color on the outside outer softest fluffy feathers and another color darker shade for the lower inner feathers that gradually gets darker to black tips, the secondary color is black on all of them except for the black one which is the lone solid color option with only subtle hints of other colors in the beautiful sheen like on a ravens feathers.


I got mine in 'Rose' an incredibly eye-catching shade of Fuchsia that changes shade from lighter on the bottom to darker Fuchsia in the middle and with some black tips on top of the feathers with a beautiful sheen to them.

It also comes in Grape (A red wine color), Black (Soild black color with hints of other colors like a raven's feathers.), Brown (A more natural sheen realistic feather looking color), Violet (A pretty purple, black with hints of aqua multicolor) and Red (Vibrant red and black colors).

The Starburst feathers are many soft fluffy feathers grouped and dyed together like a duster. The feathers are well glued together inside of a secure plastic cap, It is well made and the feathers to not come out.
It does sometimes shed tiny feather bits, even more so when you first get it.
My only complaint with this product is that the feathers can get bent after moderate & or quick rough strokes in usage.

I don't recommend getting the feathers wet with anything other than water or getting any oil, lube or lotion on it, This will be hard to clean out if you do.
If it ever becomes dirty other than dust which you can simply shake off you can use a soft wash cloth dampen it, gently wipe each feathers going in the direction from the ends held in the plastic part to the tips of the feathers carefully. If it gets wet it can wilt so when your done cleaning it then you should air dry it or use a hairdryer on low cold air.

It comes with a card held on to it by hard plastic strings you need to cut off with scissors as it's only packaging. Eden did take care to wrap it up in brown paper to protect it from damage or flattening.
