You pay for what you get

This toy is exactly what you pay for and is a decent choice if you're unsure about whether or not you and your partner would enjoy employing handcuffs during sex. However, I would definitely recommend skipping this step and going ahead and paying for a nice pair if you're confident that you and your partner will enjoy it or if you have used handcuffs in the past and are looking for a replacement.

Use

The use of these handcuffs is fairly clear, to bind your sub's wrists together for increased control over them. I have cuffed my sub in various positions, whether her hands be in front of her or behind her back, or whether I cuff her to the bed or a bench or post outside. All of these scenarios are very fun and both you and your partner will enjoy them--assuming the cuffs work.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

The design is standard, handcuffs with a link chain connecting them and two keys. The metal seems solid and has not bent to my knowledge. The cuffs are a tad uncomfortable to wear, but that's kind of the point. However, the quality of the cuffs is poor. It takes a few attempts to get the cuffs to actually lock around my sub's wrists, not catching on the lock. As a result, I'm stuck fumbling trying to get the cuffs to lock while also holding her still. In addition, there is a safety release on the cuffs (which could be a pro for some) that my sub can reach with her hand in the cuff, a feature I am not a fan of.

Performance

The cuffs had a few issues. As I mentioned, they sometimes did not lock into place, leaving me fumbling to get them to lock around my sub's wrists. This is a serious defect, and while we will continue to use these cuffs until we upgrade, it is a disappointment. The safety release on the cuffs is another thing I dislike. In my opinion, the only way out should be by using the provided keys, having the safety release takes away from the scene. In the meantime, my sub and I have agreed to not use the safety release.

Personal comments

You get exactly what you pay for with these cuffs. A cheap temporary fix before realizing that you want something better (and are willing to pay more for it). I have already begun doing research into real police officer handcuffs and will definitely be purchasing an upgrade sometime in the near future.
