Makes My Nose Wiggle

This condom from Trojan will add extra peace of mind that you will be preventing pregnancy. They don't have a great shape or smell, but you will be protected even more. They are worth a try if you are against other birth control as back up.

extremely useful review
Sometimes it is nice to have a little bit of extra security (especially in economic times like these!), that you are even more protected against unwanted pregnancy. The Trojan-Enz spermicidal lubricated condom can aid in this with its special formula for killing those pesky spermies. You will have to put up with some negatives because of this, but in the end you will know that you were very protected against pregnancy.

For the curious foe, the ENZ addition to the Trojan name refers to the extra room they added to the reservoir tip. The shape is simple otherwise and doesn't have anything else unique about it. The dimensions are the same as the non-lubricated and non-spermicidal versions.

Head Width: 2.08"
Shaft Width: 2.08"
Base Width: 2.08"
Length: 7.51"
Thickness: 0.0027"
Lubrication: Spermicidal Water-Based
Special Features: Larger Reservoir Tip

Compared to other condoms:

Average condoms have a thickness of 0.0027". This Trojan condom is the same.
Sensations will be lowered and you may not be able to feel the details of your partner. Men may be more affected by this than women.

The average condom is 7.5" long. This condom is pretty much the same being only .01" longer. This makes it good for the average length male. The extra space in the reservoir tip is nice and makes more room for semen. I would not use this condom on a penis longer than 7 inches for good measure.

Average condoms have a head width of 2.125". The condom doesn't have a natural shape so it has less head room, 2.08" to be exact. The lack of taper reduces head friction that promotes sensitivity and arousal. Guys who have larger heads will find this extra uncomfortable.

Average shaft width for condoms is 2". The Trojan-ENZ condom is slightly larger at 2.08". This condom is a straight shot shape that doesn't help with friction at all. ANYWHERE. For the thicker guys, this won't be roomie. You may feel restricted.

Average base width is also 2". The base width for this condom is the same for the rest of the condom-2.08". This may make the condom slide more which could be an even bigger problem for average or thin guys.

The lubrication will be different that what you are used to if you have never tried spermicide before. It is slightly creamy. If you can find a good spermicidal lubricant to add to this, I would because this lubricant is great for killing sperm but not best for intercourse. The added lubricant also decreases the chance of the condom breaking. Note that spermicide will numb your tongue a bit and taste awful. Be sure to wash it off if you want to perform oral.

The condom comes in a paper tin wrapper, which is easy to open. The white wrapper is more discrete than most condoms. This condom has a weird rippling when unrolled but it didn't affect feeling.

This condom has a high level of smell which is probably stronger than you are used to. It made my nose twitch because of the spermicide smell. I've never had one of these break. Keep them at room temperature and away from direct sunlight.

For information on using condoms, you can view this video.

I am giving these condoms 3 stars because of the added safety the spermicide provides but they lack a good natural shape. They don't add to the feeling, just the security that you are extra protected against pregnancy. They have a bad smell and horrible taste.
Experience
Make sure to use these well before their expiration date. The lubrication gets thicker with time even if they have not passed the date.
Follow-up commentary
This product has now been discontinued on edenfantasys. There are many better condoms out there. Trojan still manufactures this and probably will for a long time, since many people like the added security of spermicide. For me...the added security has more negatives than positives and so I'll just still with my condom and pill birth control. You can also find these at most Planned Parenthoods, Gyno offices. etc for free. I recommend trying it free before buying it.

Heh I can't use any spermicides currently on the market as they cause that tissue to swell...getting a penis stuck inside isn't my idea of a hawt time!
