I wanted to try the Rough Rider Hot Passion condoms because a condom with warming lubricant seemed pretty interesting to me. The shape of the condom was also a bonus because I've had good experiences with flared headed condoms before. Unfortunately, these condoms didn't work out as well as I had hoped.

The average condom is about 7.5 inches long, with a base and shaft width of about 2 inches. These condoms have the same measurements there, so anyone with a bigger or smaller than average girth and length should probably avoid these condoms. If you're bigger than average, the condom may be too tight and may break more easily. If you're smaller, the condom may be too loose and might not stay on. The head is flared to provide more freedom of movement, which gives extra sensation. They also have a reservoir tip. The thickness of these condoms is the same as an average condom, which is 0.0027 inches, so you won't get the more natural feeling of a thinner condom.

These condoms are made from latex and are talc-free. They are smooth with no added texture, which is fine with me since I or my girlfriend don't really like condoms with things like ribs. They are clear and unflavored. They use a water based warming lubricant that does not contain spermicide. Natural body moisture is what activates the warming lubricant. The amount of lubrication is decent, but you can always add more if you need to. If you do, use only water based or silicone based lubes as oil based lubes can break down the latex.

My experience with these condoms wasn’t all bad. With the flared head, I don’t have to worry about loss of sensation when wearing these condoms. Another good thing about them is that they don’t have very much of a latex smell, which is always a plus for me when using condoms. I hate having my hands smell like latex. My problem with these “warming condoms” is that they didn’t do any warming at all. Now, I’m usually not sensitive enough to feel anything down there that is supposed to warm or tingle, so I thought it might have just been me. However, when I asked my girlfriend, she also said that she didn’t feel anything. This really disappointed me since I found them so interesting. I probably wouldn’t bother with these condoms again since they are, at least to me, nothing more than an average condom.
