Beyond seven studded - male condom discontinued by Okamoto - review by SassyRebelion

The Beyond Seven Studded condoms leave something to be desired. After much deliberations these condoms were purchased because who wouldn't love the extra feeling caused by the studs instead of a simply smooth generic condom? However, I was greatly disappointed to find that the feeling of the studs quickly turned undesirable, as if rubbing a dull cactus down there (not pleasant). I have used other studded ones in the past so I was quick to try these as well. However, it was definitely a waste of a purchase for us because I will not be trying them again! I would rather feel relaxed afterwards, not feeling as if I have myself rubbed raw. The description claims that they are studded for increased sensation as you penetrate. This is indeed true. It is just not a pleasant sensation as one would expect from such activities that require such a product.

I can honestly say that there was no natural feeling to these for me as stated in the description. I’m not sure how something with the texture of sand paper rubbing in such a sensitive area is natural. It's beyond me. The condom itself was easy to use. No problems there whatsoever. For me, the studs caused the majority of the issues. After feeling the roughness, I cannot imagine how these would be used for other methods.

These condoms appeared to be averaged size. The description claims that they are strong and durable (which is great because that's one of the reasons we are using them in the first place). However, I kept thinking that with some many of those 'studs' that the condom was more likely to break.


Overall, I am not saying don't try these... you may love them. They are just not for me! They haven't stopped me from trying new things; I'll continue to do that. You only live once after all. It's just as well to have a blast while doing it!
