Sedeux vibrating leather harness - double strap harness with vibrator pocket discontinued by Sportsheets - review by Jess.McCleod

There are two main things I look for in a harness: Comfort and stability. The Sedeux vibrating harness provided both for me.

Having two straps that go around each thigh instead of one that simply goes between your legs may make it trickier to wear and get used to in the beginning but in the long run this type of design will be much easier to adjust to your personal preference. Another bonus to the double set of straps which you will definitely live to appreciate is the vaginal area being left completely open for you or your partner to take advantage of. I'll admit, the straps can be pretty rough against the skin its a fair trade off in that the straps stay at the chosen length you adjust them too. I've had problems with the straps on other harness slipping and have been very pleased not to have found that problem here. Making sure they're pulled tight will leave less wiggle and less rubbing means less irritation, so definitely play with them until you're comfortable!

The padded back of the panel does a wonderful job of protecting your skin from chaffing but makes keeping the harness sanitary harder compared to if the whole thing was made of the same material as the smooth front which can be wiped clean easily. The cotton backing also takes bath and shower play out of the equation unless you're up for spending the time to make sure it gets dried properly. This product can not simply be thrown in the wash due to the leather.

It comes with a selection of 3 different sized ORings that will keep your chosen dildo securely in place, which is great. The rings are made of a sturdy rubber kept in place by four extremely tight snaps. I've actually had a bit of trouble getting these snaps apart to change out the ring so I can't imagine them ever coming undone during play. I have found, however, that this harness works best with dildos specifically designed for strap-on play but you can use ones with wide suction cup bases.

A major downside I felt was with the vibrating portion of this product. The bullet provided with the harness I found to be very weak and actually broke within several uses. The pouch the bullet actually sits it wasn't placed correctly for my body and didn't give as much sensation as I would have liked even after being replaced with a more powerful vibrator.

I don't know about anyone else but the excess strap left after adjusting just drove me nuts! I know some wearers choose to leave the excess on for their partner to tug on and use for leverage, but in my experience it just got in the way and distracted me.

My solution? After playing with the harness a bit and figuring out exactly how I preferred to wear it I loosened the straps enough to take it off. Then, leaving a few additional inches just in case, I cut off the excess strap.

You can leave it like this if choose to but if you're like me and hate threaded the straps back through the adjusters when the accidentally slip through, simply fold over the end of the strap 1/2 an inch and sew it to stay.

There you go! No straps flying around.
