The Vegan Jaguar Harness from Aslan Leather is a double-strap harness made of soft and comfortable vegan leather. Aslan Leather is a Canadian company that ethically manufactures there, so you can be sure the person who made your harness was paid good wages and was given break, sick days, etc. In this case, it looks like choosing to stay a small company who pays attention to details pays off.

The harness itself is wonderful quality. The hardware is sturdy and shiny. It’s also securely placed so the straps of the harness and the snaps holding in the o-ring are very, very secure. The faux leather itself is soft and supple; it has nothing to do with those pleather pants you saw and hated in the later 90s. While it’s not leather, it is very comparable and looks just as good. This makes it a great alternative for people who are vegan or just want to reduce animal suffering in general.

The harness itself is worn with a set of straps held by buckles as well as o-rings. The o-rings (which attach the straps that go between your legs and up to your back) are the perfect size for the material going through them as they do not slip at all, yet they are very easy to adjust when you want to move them. The buckles (which adjust the part that goes around your waist) are also nicely made and easy to adjust. From the hardware alone I can tell this harness is going to last a long time.

Since the Jaguar sits lower than some harnesses, the straps around your waist are less likely to dig in since they will steady themselves on your pelvic bones. This makes the Jaguar ultra-comfortable. Also, the o-ring sits lower as well. This provides more friction against the clitoris during wear than it would if the o-ring were higher up. I personally didn’t experience much extra stimulation from the positioning of the o-ring, but since everyone’s anatomy is a little different, you may have better luck with that feature of the harness. Another note about the clitoral stimulation from the placement of the o-ring – if you happen to have a strap-on compatible toy that has a vibrating bullet in the base, the base of the vibrator would line up reasonable well with the wearer’s clitoris.

The o-ring which comes with the harness I have found it to be compatible with toys up to about 2” in diameter. If you have a toy that is 2” or more in diameter, you will have to buy a pack of o-rings to go with the harness. Also, if you would like a snugger fit with your smaller sized toys, an additional o-ring pack would also be advisable. They can be found for around $7-8 per pack, which would be a small investment to make your harness fit your toys better.
