Buzz 2 review

The Buzz 2 is a straight forward vibrating strap-on dildo. The material and workmanship are excellent (just like all Tantus products). It has features that make it very good, but it is missing a curve that, in my opinion, would make it great.

extremely useful review
Tantus didn’t give a very creative name to their Buzz 2. I mean it doesn’t really tell you much about the toy, but I guess that’s probably because there isn’t really much that sets it apart from their other toys except that it vibrates. But then again, several of their toys do, so that isn’t necessarily a distinguishing characteristic. The name does provide a link to its slightly smaller companion Buzz 1|Buzz 1 sex toy Sex Toy Reviews: Tantus Buzz 1Dildo and pictures of the two toys show them to be very similar. I guess that must be what Tantus was after when they made the Buzz series – a couple of stable strap-on dildos to please all the silicone lovers out there.

I have a somewhat mixed opinion of the Buzz 2|Buzz 2 Dildo by Tantus. I originally ordered it largely based upon its pictures which I thought made it seem like it had a curve that would be good for prostate and g-spot stimulation. Unfortunately, it really is a very straight forward vibrating strap-on dildo (straight being the operative word in this case). The Buzz 2 definitely has girth to it and it took some warming up before I was able to take it anally. It is definitely only for experienced anal players. The head is pronounced and it felt distinctive going in, but once it was in, without a curve, it just didn’t seem to stimulate my prostate like I had hoped. The vibrator didn’t really help much in that regard either. Speaking of the vibrator, it is a cordless bullet vibe that can be slid into the shaft or removed while cleaning the rest of the toy. I didn’t have any trouble taking it out, but I always make sure to put a little lube in with it to aid in removal. Since I now have several of these little bullets, I make sure to keep spare batteries on hand in case one of them dies during a session.

After some appropriate sterilization (I like to use the 10% bleach solution method and then wash with soap and water afterward), it was time to use the Buzz 2 on my partner. She was also not all that impressed with it. She isn’t much for the vibrating stuff, so that was lost on her as well. Although I tried with and without the harness, it just didn’t hit the g-spot like I was hoping it would. I will say that it does fit great in a harness and it was easy to control and use on her in this manner.

Now, after all of that you might be thinking I am going to rate this pretty poorly. Actually, I still think the Buzz 2 deserves 4 stars. I think it is better than most of the straight dildos|Nexus Sr. - Double ended dildos out there because it is made of high quality silicone and has a removable vibrator. It seems like a very simple concept that Tantus executed very well. I just wish it had a curve to it too.

Something like the Squirt or Bandito would probably be a good bet for both g-spot and prostate stimulation.
