This is a basic harness for use in the bedroom by female-bodied persons as this harness will not fit the male anatomy due to the g-string design. It can be used for gender play, pegging, and strap-on play on a bed, but is not recommended for use in the shower, even with faux-leather being water-resistant. This harness is great for most sizes and shapes and is a great beginner harness for people to strap into for their first time. It can also be traveled with, as it folds easily to fit in luggage like any other clothing item, but TSA may find this in your carry-on so if you're easily embarrassed, just leave it at home.

The Wide Back Vegan Harness by Eden Toys is made from faux-leather or polyethylene material. It's water-resistant, durable, and highly flexible, so it moves with the body while being worn. This material rates a 7/10 on the Eden safety scale and should be considered fluid bound when used with a partner, due to the porosity of the material and the fact the harness will be exposed to fluids because of the nature of the use. The faux-leather is soft and smooth to the touch and has a grain texture much like real leather. There aren't any scents associated with the harness, and directly out of the packaging the harness doesn't carry a smell.



The faux-leather isn't thick, but it's not paper-thin either. Users of the harness will not have to worry about the material ripping, but it may become stretched over time with use. While the material is water-resistant, it is not recommended for use in the shower, as the metal d-rings may rust if exposed to water. The O-rings included with the harness are made from iron according to the box the harness came in. These o-rings are smooth aside from a seam on them where the ends of the metal are joined. This harness is a great option for those looking for a vegan material to use.

This harness has a very simplistic, yet effective design. It's made in a g-string style and features a front and back piece that are attached together via straps. The front piece is triangular in shape and has three slits in it where the straps of the harness run through to snap around the o-rings provided. The back piece is wide and V-shaped, making it perfect to form against the lower back where the harness rests on the skin when worn. This back piece features an imitation of a corset design, which lends a feminine and stylish touch to the harness overall.



The straps of the harness are skinny, and the overall stitching is well done. The harness is somewhat flimsy (it's floppy and lightweight), and there were strands unraveled on the straps where the faux-leather was fraying. However, this fraying does not affect the overall performance or the quality of the harness. The D-rings bringing the harness altogether are durable and seem sturdy enough that they won't break with normal applied force. The o-rings that came with the harness are as sturdy as the d-rings, and users won't have to worry about them breaking in use.



Overall the harness is highly adjustable, and beginners won't have a problem finding the perfect fit for them. It is also easily put on and taken off, even if it is the user's first time using a harness. Most toys will fit inside of this harness (if they have a flat base), but those with testicles as a base will not fit in this style.

This harness was designed to be one size fits most, and it does! It can adjust from the smallest to larger hips easily accommodating either with a simple tug/slide of the straps. At the smallest size, this harness will fit those with around 24-inch hips (size 4) to those with 60-inch hips (size 32 or 5x). It offers a vast range for those who are wanting to try strap-on play with their partner for the first time, or those users who are simply looking for a vegan option to all of the leather harnesses on the market.

Once on, and adjusted snugly, the harness form fits and feels like a glove against the body. It made me feel sexy and secure, knowing that it wasn't going to slip down or fall off of my hips. The material against my bare skin was so smooth that it didn't feel like I was wearing anything at all aside from the weight in the front where the dildo sat on my pubic bone. You can even adjust this harness so it sits low or high, depending on where you'd like the toy you choose to sit on your body. My partner and I both have larger hips, and it fit both of us snugly with room to spare.

The interchangeable o-rings also fit many different sized toys. The smaller o-ring fits toys up to 1-1/2 inches in diameter, while the bigger o-ring fits toys up to 2 inches in diameter. This means that the harness should hold most dildos with a flat, flared base.

The harness performs exactly how it is supposed to and holds multiple sizes of toys as it should. The straps hold up well, and there wasn't any slippage with the material when the harness was secured on my body. The softness of the material is comfortable, and there wasn't any chafing involved, even with prolonged, rough use. A simple tug of the side straps on the hips and the harness tightened up around the body easily but doesn't loosen once it's been tightened. When tested in a number of positions, the harness remained comfortable and moved with my body, and didn't restrict the fluidity of my movements in any way.

Toys were a bit difficult to switch out with this harness, as the snaps are extremely hard to unsnap in order to remove the o-rings. One snap even required the force of my teeth to open it. This isn't great for times when the user wants to switch dildos out for smaller or larger ones in a quick instance, as one would probably find that difficult with the unruly snaps that attach to the o-ring. However, the toys hold well and aren't prone to shifting once they have been secured by their bases behind the o-ring. There wasn't a need to readjust any of the dildos I used in this harness, ranging from small to large toys, and thrusting wasn't cumbersome.

Should the harness get any kind of fluids on the surface (which is very likely), you can clean it by wiping the harness down with a damp cloth of warm water and a mild antibacterial soap or any detergent-free soap. Should your harness harbor any unwanted smells, you can store the harness in a box with any natural potpourris such as vanilla or coffee beans. You can also allow the harness to sit out in fresh, natural flowing air in order to air out any unwanted scents that may be retained through use. If the harness is washed with a damp cloth, leave the harness out in sunlight. The ultraviolet rays of the sun can kill mold and bacteria. Also, the heat will dry out any moisture locked inside of the material once it has been dampened.

You can store your new harness hanging up in the closet on a hanger to prevent the material from wrinkling up, lay it flat in a drawer or your toy chest, or even fold it neatly in a sock drawer if you wish. The box that the harness comes in is also a great option to keep the harness folded inside. Keep the harness out of prolonged direct heat or sunlight, as this can degrade the material over time and cause cracks along the surface. Overall the harness is very easily cared for and should last the user for a long time to come.

Shipping with Eden is extremely discreet. There aren't any labels or indicators of there being an adult item in your package when it is shipped. The product ships in a plain, brown, cardboard box with merely shipping addresses on the sticker. The box does not mention Edenfantasys anywhere on it, and there isn't a contents label on the outside. Inside of the box, your product is packed with air pillows to keep it from bumping around during transit. The packing slip sits on top as you open your package, usually on top of the air pillows and is your guide to returns or exchanges you may need.

The harness came in an elegant packaging. It was packaged inside of a sturdy cardboard box. The box is black, and there is a photo on the front of two women wearing the harness, embracing each other. All that is seen is their torso down, and they are not completely nude. It's a tasteful image, but it is not discreet, and clearly shows what is inside of the box, as well as saying 'strapon' in big lettering along the bottom of the image.



Inside of the packaging, the harness is folded up and inside of a taped cellophane bag. There's a silica insert to keep excess moisture from building inside of the cellophane bag. The metal o-rings are covered in tissue paper to protect them from scratches when you take the harness out and unfold it. Included in the package is a small instruction booklet showing how to place a dildo into the harness. There weren't any care instructions provided with the harness, but none are really required.

You can keep the box for storage purposes, or simply recycle it if you wish. If gifting this item, the box can be wrapped or placed in a gift bag. Those easily embarrassed by opening adult products should be told beforehand what you're gifting them if they don't wish to open it in front of others.

This is a wonderful harness for beginners and intermediate players. Advanced users may want something sturdier in the long run as this one may not last forever due to wear and tear. This wear and tear are mainly due to the straps. When adjusting the straps, they have a tendency to fray, and loose, white strings appear along the edges of the straps. This may be compromising the material, but is not completely ruining it.
