Skin-like realistic dildo with balls and suction cup
by

Gino and the Giant Peach

It feels and looks fantastic and works well for hands-free play as promised, but it's way more high maintenance than it's worth. Also, the stiffness limits your positions to some boring choices, straight-up-and-down or back-and-forth only. If you're looking for your first big toy, look elsewhere. I'd only recommend it to people who are obsessed with oversized toys and are just dying to add a new one to their collection.

Use

By far, the most pleasurable position I've tried with this is riding. If you're really into that full feeling, the size of this toy combined with the pressure of you sitting down on it as it's pushing deep into you is to die for. I've never felt so thoroughly stretched in my life. The toy could also be complimented well with a simple doggy style, especially if you just suction cup it up to a surface, get on your hands and knees, and go to town. The suction cup is extremely strong, and the hardness of the toy makes it super easy to insert, so you'll have a smooth ride going this way.
I've also tried missionary, which I don't recommend--I mean, it worked, but not as well. This is because the Eden Dreamer is almost completely stiff. In the missionary position, whatever you're being f*cked with doesn't usually move in a horizontal straight line; if you really know what you're doing, when you or your partner pulls out, they'll also bring their hips or hand upwards a bit, then follow the same curve back downwards. Think of the way a rocking chair moves. Trying to bend this toy to move it more naturally or target my g-spot (like I normally would) was really uncomfortable for my genitals, and pushing it in straight was really uncomfortable for my arms. You'd also need to be mindful of how straight the path you're moving it in is when doing a doggy style like I mentioned above.

Because of the size, lube is an absolute must-have. PVC is safe with silicone lube, but water-based is always the safest, so that's my personal recommendation. You should also make sure you're properly aroused first, so you and your muscles will be nice and receptive.

The Eden Dreamer would probably be too large for a lot of people, just vaginally, and I'm sure the same would be true, even more so for anal. However, if you mind your limits and know what you want, the strong suction cup and enormous balls would make for a perfectly safe anal session. This guy is definitely best suited for the advanced or mindful intermediate.
Whether you take it anal or vaginal, I recommend warming up with something smaller first before going in with the Eden Dreamer.

This toy may have its cons, but a big pro is its versatility. This is a great toy for all kinds of solo, and as long as you communicate to your partner you AND the toy's limitations, it would do swimmingly in couples play as well.

Material / Texture

Let me just preface everything by saying: the other reviews are completely right.

This thing lets off a very strange smell. The phrase that comes to mind is chemical candy cane... A sharp mintiness. People who aren't particularly sensitive to smells could probably get over it; I'd describe it more as 'distracting' than 'disgusting.'
The scent lightened up a bit with thorough washing but hasn't completely gone away. It also instantly clings to my hand whenever I touch it for even a second.
I was expecting the discolored spots mentioned in this review to be a fluke, but surprisingly mine began to develop them too! First, it was just one tiny dot I noticed while cleaning it before my first use, then another small one, then two big blotches, then more... You get the point. Here's a picture of two of them:

Two discolored spots on the balls and suction cup of the Eden Dreamer.
(P.S. - Please forgive any lint you can see in this picture. I washed it thoroughly before this picture, but it was toast the second it hit my blanket!)
They're all dark grey, so I think it's the dye in some of my black toys and satin bags transferring over through the porous PVC. I'm not sure if it's dangerous, but it discourages me from using it all the same.

This toy is incredibly firm, but because the bumps and ridges aren't too deep, I didn't find the hardness painful like I have with other firm toys. It compliments riding well but can be limiting because you can't bend the toy well for sexy circular or rocking motions. The firmness is also another reason I don't recommend this toy for beginners, aside from the obvious massive size. It makes it easy to insert but isn't gentle at all.

Before the first wash, it had a layer of fine powder over it, making the recommended first-wash-before-first-use of any sex toy an absolute necessity here. I know you've probably disregarded that once or twice, but absolutely do NOT with the Eden Dreamer! Thankfully, after the initial thorough lathering, it became clean and smooth. However, the smoothness also means it looks less realistic, as it's very shiny.

Design / Shape / Size

The realism of this toy is just wonderful, especially on the head and the circumcision scar that lies under it... Seriously, that part is so real it's almost scary. There's a healthy helping of veins too. Not only does it look nice, but it feels even better! All the little details run along your walls so tantalizingly as you thrust it in and out, easily detectable without being so abruptly raised that they become painful.
Many people found the shape of the balls off-putting, and I have to agree. However, I'll acknowledge that there are sacks that look like this and that I really quite like it on real people; it's just kind of odd to see frozen in time as a big mound of firm PVC like this. If only these balls were on a dual-density toy, that may be a different story.
Not only do I think the realistic look of the Eden Dreamer could be arousing for people, but very affirming for those upset about not having a penis. If you were to use an underwear-styled strap-on harness or put your pants on over a normal harness with this, it'd be very easy to imagine it was a part of you. It would do wonders for the confidence of a transman or man who lost his penis in an accident. It could also be convincing enough for NSFW cosplay photoshoots. Cornstarch is body-safe, and dusting a toy with it lightly is a great way to add realism by removing shine, so I recommend that for those purposes.

The size of this meat mallet is massive, hence the title, Gino and the Giant Peach! It's a whopping 6 inches around at the widest point, and the width is pretty uniform throughout. This is a very different sensation to my other large dildo, the Champion, which has a shaft that bulges just under the head and thins back out as it nears the balls. Here's an image comparing the two to each other and a drink can -

The Eden Dreamer lined up next to The Champion and an average-sized energy drink can.

While the Champion is longer, both are 6 inches around at the widest point. You can clearly see what I mean by the shape being more uniform on the Dreamer from this angle, can't you? Using a toy like this, you'll feel filled up all the way through. A toy that's widest at one point which will have you feeling all the various shapes pushing past and releasing your muscles as you thrust. I wouldn't say either is necessarily an advantage or disadvantage, and I just wanted to detail this for people who know what they prefer.
The drink can is just for general size to show you this is a seriously big toy, both length and width wise!

Performance

The suction cup is very, very strong. I was able to do doggy with it to completion without it falling off the nightstand I stuck it to. I also suction cup it to my shower wall to dry, and I've tested the maximum amount of time it can stay up untouched... the answer was three days!

The Eden Dreamer in a harness for some solo play.

This toy is also harness compatible. I was able to fit the suction cup through the stretchy O-ring of my harness and strap it to a pillow for an intense ride. I imagine it would stay into the harness well if I was riding a person instead, too. Make sure your harness will be able to fit it, though--it's important that the ring on my harness was stretchy! While the sides of the cup are somewhat bendable and able to be squished through, I still had to stretch the ring quite a bit to make it fit around the base of the toy.

Those two paragraphs are some big pros, but the Eden Dreamer is rich with cons. While it's easy to use, it's extremely hard to store. Not only is it enormous, but it should be stored completely alone due to the fact it picks up color from everything it touches and leaves its smell behind in return. Your storage options are limited by the staining, too. It'd probably only store well in a clear plastic bag, and even doing that would leave one wondering... if it picks up colors from other storage options, what might it pick up from this plastic bag?

Care and Maintenance

Because the toy discolors from almost everything it touches, I recommend storing it in its own separate cardboard plastic box or bag. I mean specifically, those options too, since it got more spots from both the fabric bags that held my other toys and the inside of my fantastic toy case. The packaging is clear plastic, so it would be able to keep it safe, but it's a bit large and not subtle at all.

Cleaning was easy, at least. I use mild antibacterial soap and warm water, lathered up with a soft washcloth or just my hands. Taking it in the bath with you is an extremely convenient way to clean it since afterward, you can suction cup it to the wall for easy drying.

PVC is a porous material--meaning bacteria can grow easily on it--so make sure you clean it before and after every use. I recommend a rinse before you use, a wash with soap and water after you're done, and then a spray down with antibacterial toy cleaner after it dries.

Packaging

This toy came in simple but extremely humiliating packaging. It was blister packaging, the compartment that held the dildo being completely clear and perfectly shaped like the dick inside. Luckily I was home alone for a few days at the time and didn't have to worry about anyone seeing it in the trash, but not everyone will be so lucky. For people who are stuck around people, they'll want to hide this from, I imagine it would take some very careful planning to dispose of the giant cock-shaped packaging discreetly. Like, wait until the dead of night, wrap it up in some grocery bags, then hide it under a few other pieces of trash in the bin type of planning.

There was a cardboard insert in the packaging, which also bore the outline of the toy, colored bright red and covered in flames. It said 'HOODLUM' at the top in giant letters, which is actually the name of another product offered on EdenFantasys. Don't panic, you definitely didn't buy the wrong toy! The real Hoodlum is very different in dimension and doesn't have balls. I assume they just had a mixup on the names at some point, and it wasn't worth it to completely throw out a bunch of already made inserts.

The box didn't come with any instructions or information. It's just a dildo, so it's not like there are controls to list out, but it's not helpful for people who don't know how to care for PVC.

There are some pros to this packaging. It was very easy to open. It would be a safe place to store such a sensitive toy, but it is a bit large, so it might be hard to find a place for it. Also, this toy would make an awesome gag-gift because of it, seriously! You can see the entire toy through the box's perfect imprint of a huge cock, and the flames are pleasantly cheesy. Your friends would have a holler if you gave this at a birthday party.
