Best Use

The Sportsheets Bikini Strap-On and Silicone Dildo Set is a thong style harness complete with its own silicone dildo. It is best suited for women to wear and can be used for gender role playing. It can be used with the silicone dildo that came with it or other dildos of a similar size. This is a great kit for adventurous couples who want to explore the possibilities of strap-on play. The harness is completely machine-washable. Also included is a high quality silicone dildo.

Material/Texture/Design/Shape/Size

The harness is easy to put on and easy to adjust. It has a bikini shaped front pad with a hole, cut out and reinforced with an O-ring to hold a dildo in place. The hole measures 1 ¼” in diameter, but has enough give to allow it to stretch, enabling it to fit snugly around toys approaching 1 ½”.

In addition to the harness, Sportsheets includes one of their 100% silicone Skyn Dildos. The dildo measures 6” long and 1 3/8” in diameter with a slightly bulbous head. It is a beautiful deep purple color with a nice swirled pattern. It has a somewhat glossy pearlescent sheen. The dildo is perfectly smooth with no seams whatsoever. It has a gentle upward curve that angles up from the flared base. At 1 3/8”, the dildo is actually larger than what the box indicates will fit in the harness. This was actually a good thing, because the dildo fit snugly and didn’t move around at all.


The Skyn is my first Sportsheets branded dildo, and the silicone looks and feels very similar to that on the Tantus dildos that I own. This is a good place to point out that Sportsheets used to include a Tantus Acute dildo with this harness kit, but now the kit comes with a Sportsheets Skyn dildo instead. In fact, some of the photos on Eden's website still show the previous version. Either way, it's a high quality dildo.

Care and Maintenance

The harness is completely machine-washable. The Sportsheets Skyn Dildo is 100% silicone; therefore, you should only use water-based lubricants with it. Silicone lubricants can cause silicone toys to break down and may damage them. To clean the dildo, you can wash it with warm water and a mild soap or use a toy cleaner like the Eden wipes. You can also use a 10% bleach solution for a more thorough cleaning.

Packaging

The Sportsheets Bikini Strap-On & Silicone Dildo Set arrived in a bizarrely shaped box. It wasn’t really boxy, more curvy similar to an hourglass shape. The box is not at all discreet as it shows a woman wearing nothing but the strap-on with a man embracing her from behind. The box contains a bullet-point list of the main features of the set. The packaging proudly proclaims in big bold print on each side of the box that it is a strap-on with dildo. The back of the box contains instructions on how to put the harness on.

It has been years since I wore a bikini and I am not nearly as thin as I used to be, so I was a little concerned about how this harness would fit as it is truly not much more than a bikini. The picture on the box shows a thin woman with small hips, but the box indicates that it fits up to 60” hips, so I was willing to give it a try.

For the big event, I put on my new purple and black wet look corset and stockings and slipped into my new harness. When my husband came into the room, the whole ensemble brought him to his knees. Well, actually, I made him get on his knees. This harness and dildo set made me feel incredibly sexy and helped bring out my dominant side. It was surprisingly very comfortable. In fact, it is almost as comfortable as my SpareParts harness. The harness and dildo stayed in place extremely well. The ease and comfort of wearing the Sportsheets harness gave me confidence and I really enjoyed strutting around in front of my husband with my new purple pecker.

After using the harness and for the purpose of this review, I wanted to verify the measurements to see if it really would fit 60” hips. I have to disagree with the specs on the box. Based on my measurements, it probably won’t fit larger than 52”.

Unlike my leather harness, a real plus to the Sportsheets harness is that it can just be tossed in the washing machine after use.

In addition to couples' play, the kit can be used for solo pleasure by simply using the harness to strap a dildo to a pillow, chair, or other small piece of furniture. It fits quite nicely around my home office chair. And of course, the dildo can also be used completely independent of the harness. The size and slight curve make this a nice toy for vaginal and G-spot use.

I enthusiastically recommend this harness and dildo set to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, high quality set.
