Ah, the Leo. As a proud owner of the Leoweenie, I didn't need any convincing that the Vibrating Leo was a toy I needed to add to my toy box. From the moment I saw the pearly white coloring, I was in love.

The Vibrating Leo has lots of uses.

As it vibrates, this Leo could be used for clitoral stimulation. You could get a more focused stimulation with the head of the toy, or rest the shaft along your clitoral area for a broader stimulation.

Obviously, the Vibrating Leo could be used for vaginal play. The gentle G-spot curve and smooth shaft feel amazing and really lead to an amazing experience. I like the feel of the realistic head, while the soft silicone ensures that even energetic thrusting is comfortable. The addition of optional vibrations adds another dimension to the toy, allowing you to switch it on when you're ready to push yourself over the edge, leave it on throughout your play or not use the vibrations at all.

Because it has a flared base, the Vibrating Leo works well for anal play as well. You would need to know if you can handle the diameter and length of it, but the material and design are sure to please. The slight curve that works for G-spot stimulation works for P-spot play as well.

The Vibrating Leo is made of two distinct materials: silicone and plastic. The dildo itself is one solid chunk of amazing silicone, while the bullet is a fairly standard plastic bullet.

The dildo is made of high quality silicone in a pearly white color. There is an iridescent element to the coloring, with swirls of opal coloring. It is amazingly beautiful. One of the reasons I wanted the Vibrating Leo, even though I own the Leoweenie (orange Leo with inset bats), was the coloring. The silicone used in the Vibrating Leo is more matte than shiny, with a slight amount of drag when you slide your finger over it. There is very little texture, aside from the ridges around the head, and the features of the head itself. There is a fair amount of bend and flex to the silicone, and you can fold the Leo in half.

The bullet is a standard silver plastic bullet, with a pull string attached to a small loop on the back. The string is supposed to help you pull the bullet out of the dildo, but I don't trust that little loop to handle a lot of pulling.

I'd say the smooth texture of the Leo is perfect for anyone. I'm usually a texture lover, and I still love the Leo, so it works well for anyone who likes a dildo of this size.

The Vibrating Leo is fairly realistic, but it lacks veining and the coloring is obviously not the most realistic. That being said, if you leave this laying around, there is no mistaking that it is some sort of phallic toy.

At 8" in length, with 7" of that being insertable, the Leo makes it presence known. The diameter of the shaft is 1 5/8", which gives it enough girth to satisfy but not so much as to be overwhelming. It may be a bit much for beginner, especially if you intend to use this toy anally.

The base of the toy measures 3 1/8" in diameter, and fits nicely in my hand. The flop of the base is only slightly annoying, and I can simply grab onto the folded over base to get a nice grip.

This is one of my favorite dildos for play that is in combination with other things. I like using it vaginally while I use a vibrator on my clitoris. I like when my husband uses this on me vaginally while he goes down on me. I find that the filling Vibrating Leo, with or without the bullet turned on, is the perfect complement to clitoral stimulation.

When I thrust the Vibrating Leo, I can angle it and get the head to rub my G-spot well. I have had little to no trouble with the head getting stuck on my pubic bone of causing any sort of discomfort to my cervix from vigorous thrusting. With any toy, you need to be careful with that, so please know your limits and test things out slowly.

The Leo is harness compatible, and will work with an O-ring. You could also hold the base for thrusting, as I did. The base is very flexible, so it tends to fold over itself when you grip it, but I didn't find this to be a problem. The base is large enough to ensure safe anal play, with no fear of the toy getting lost. The Vibrating Leo does not have a suction cup built in like its brother the Leo, as it needs that space for the hole which houses the vibrating bullet.

The bullet? Well, it's a bullet. It takes small watch batteries, doesn't offer a ton of power and is controlled by a single button on the back. The bullet is not what sells me on this toy, but there isn't anything wrong with it. It's basic and gets the job done.

Leo is all silicone, so cleaning is simple. You can clean the toy with a mild soap and water, or with your favorite toy cleaner. If you wish to sterilize the toy, you could boil it for three minutes or place it in the top rack of your dishwasher. It does tend to collect hair and lint. I find it's best to sit it on my nightstand or desk after I wash it, so it will stay clean until I use it. Also, when I wash it after use I let it air dry, to avoid it collecting fibers from a towel. As soon as it's dry I put in back in its package to store it and keep it clean. Most silicone dildos are like this, so it's really nothing new or different. I advise giving it a quick glance before you use it to be sure it's clean and ready to go.

Please use only water based lubes, as silicone lubes will damage the toy. When you store the Leo, take care to store it away from other silicone toys, as contact with them will cause damage.

The Leo comes packaged in the standard Vixen clear tube, with red caps on each end, which I think resembles the tubes used at drive up bank tellers. The writing on the outside of the tube is the only written material that accompanies the toy. It explains the lifetime warranty and how to store the toy. Vixen Creations advises you to store the toys upright in the tube. It also explains how to clean the toy, and what lubes are safe to use. The address, phone number, web site, and email address for the company are also listed, in case you would need to get in touch with them for any reason.

As the toy is clearly visible through the clear tube, I wouldn't call the package discreet. It is very basic, but sturdy enough to use for storing the toy. I don't know that I would gift the toy in just the tube, but it could be placed in a nice gift bag or wrapped for gifting.
